I agree with you. It appears that each team in the GT has made some good changes. I haven't heard much about Livingston, but 20-4A will be a very tough district this year. Whoever makes this playoffs will be battle tested and have a lot to be proud of.

I noticed in a picture of the new stadium that the student section behind the end zone has been removed. Is the PN-G side sold out yet?

I agree Scooter. I sat there and watched that Doty kid from PN-G light them up on Friday night. He basically just dropped back and fired at will. It will be interesting to see what adjustments they make before running into Central, who will definitely put the ball in the air.

Unlike the past few seasons, choosing the top 4 teams in 20-4A this year is tough at this point IMO. I agree with you that it may all boil down to what happens on Nov. 6th.

I thought our O-line played a little better this week. Defensively, our D-line was a lot better.†Air temperature was close to 100 degrees when the two varsities squared off for their hour-long scrimmage at 3 p.m. and the field temperature was well over that on the artificial turf playing surface at Veterans Stadium. “It was pretty warm at 3’oclock,†Price said. “I was pleased with the kids’ conditioning. I made the trip over to Port Neches to check out this scrimmage. I'm not a "PN-G fan", but I have watched a few PN-G games in the past and this team really looks good. Doty, DeRon and Harmon are the real deal. The first team defense didn't look too bad either. The secondary still needs some work IMO. It's amazing how far Faircloth & his staff has brought this team in such a short time. 20-4A is going to be one of the toughest districts in the state this year and the 4 teams that survive to make the playoffs are going to have a lot to be proud of.
