South Houston is 1 - 3 with their latest loss coming at the hands of Humble Summer Creek 34-23. Their win was over Baytown Sterling 24-14. As long as the Titans go into this game to take care of business, it will get ugly fast!

PN-G vs Gregory Portland Predictions
Fun little stat for you guys. In 1989 had PNG beat A&M Consolidated the Indians would have faced Gregory Portland in the Semi-finals that season.
Another fun stat is that in 1989, G-P was coached by Bruce Bush, who was an Asst. Coach @ PN-G in '75 when the Tribe won state. -
I wonder if this is the same Lance Dale that played for and Graduated from H-F, back in the early 90's when they had a good FB program. If it is wlecome back to the Golden Triangle, Doo Doo.
Yeppers he graduated from H-F and Lamar U. He is also one of my Frat brothers (Pikes) :D -
So 4 straight with 3 different coaches. Anybody think they can be the first school in Texas history to go 5 in a row.
Not only do I think that Lake Travis wins #5 next year, but I also see Aledo winning #3.
what were bertrand's stats for the game.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Bertrand had 221 yards rushing and 4 TD's. -
i believe manvel won. i will be at the FB Travis/Clear Creek game to scout. im suprise Clear Springs lost!
Springs missed a chip shot FG that would have sealed the deal with 6.7 seconds. And then in OT, the RB was stuffed on 4th and 2. After watching Hightower play, I believe Northshore will beat them hands down.

Most Overacheived Team in SETX
maverick replied to insidetrap's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Sorry guys but I gotta put up another team-WOS Mustangs. This team went toe to toe w/Friendswood (DCTF semi-final pic in 4a Div 1)only to come up 1 pt.short.Then trajedy of the death of RG and the team mourns and rebounds, then the word of a coach w/illness to Dan Hooks losing a longtime friend and now the Stangs look to make a deep playoff run.Kudos to them and kudos to all those that donated to the RG scholarship fund and for all the overwhelming support w/tributes for #12 and his families and the teams players that supported them by wearing the #12 decaAll of you folks are Overachievers in my book.In the book of books I'm sure there were lots of Attaboys noted ;)
I totally agree with you. WOS has gone through an emotional rollercoaster this year, but yet they pulled together as a team and a community and now they look stronger than ever. Best of luck to the 'Stangs!! -
Katy vs. Cinco Ranch..Katy Rolls!!!
maverick replied to 82 5A State Champs's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Wow! Both of these team came in undefeated and ranked in the top 5 (Katy #2 and Cinco Ranch #5). Last year Katy squeeked by 21-20 and that's the same type of game I was expecting this year as well. Looks like the Tigers are ready for another deep run!
