An athletic Staff members kid, there will be 7 to 8 coaches kids starting, will be a different dynamic for sure.

There is a receiver coming up from freshman team, that played with an injury , so he never got moved up to varsity. If he gets healthy, he will be as good as any before. He has speed we hadn't seen since Barnes. Not sure how progress is coming related to injury, don't believe he is running track this year.

most of what you saw on friday night was like a JV, if you figure in their age. It's a tough schedule, for the most part, but they could easily be 10 - 0. If Johnson stays healthy and the young running backs bring it, they will be very good. Receivers are questionable, but there is some good potential .

Problem is , if there here there not in the program, new coach will have to figure that out.

Giddings starts interviews next week, tough District, need to figure out how to compete with Bellville, Seally, and Madisonville

I didn’t see any backups for hf in the Silsbee game, take away the 14 pts on 2 pic 6s, hf offense only scored 21 pts. But yes they were the better team by far, and they should beat WOS , regardless of this weeks outcome.

throw out Hitchcock game , and yes. Tigers prob did better against Hitchcock, especially if u take away the 2 Interception returns. Tigers actually made Hitchcock punt several times. This game will go down to the last plays , before decided. Just like the last 2 years, and 18, and 19 years. I'll never forget that blocked field goal to end the game , in 19. I'm thinking this will be one of those games.

typical 4a, though youll get one class loaded with skill kids and few lineman, then next class will be the other way around.

# 1 is a JR, # 21 is sophomore, there are 2 freshman that have not been moved up that are good, and an 8th grader that is the real deal. Future looks really good

I think this game will let us know if WOS is for real or not , as far as winning district goes anyway.

Bellville’s district is interesting, LaGrange has improved, so has Caldwell, prob not barn burners yet, but will b worthy . Giddings is just bad, I made comments on here sev months ago that Seally would be good, gonna fun to watch the first district game there?

As we saw the last 2 years, the district games involving , Silsbee, WOS, HF, and Jasper, all went down to the last plays of the games. So the finishing order of these 4, will not surprise me. Looks like Bellville might be human this year, so they all got a shot at a deep run, shame u have to play 5 a Carthage in a 4a div 2 championship. Lol

Every game Tigers will play this year, is gonna b a Dog fight, I bet even Tarkenton and Sheppard will play like it’s the Super Bowl
