funny how it is always the coach why kids dont play.. I thought sports teach life lessons.... I guess it is ok to quit because you don't like the coach.. just like in life... if you dont like the boss... quit.... what a stupid mentality!!!! that kind of thinking will bring America down!!! How about suck it up and play ball... I like that mentality better..... and coaches get paid to win.... if he was playing the political roll.. which you barbers hill people seem to think.... then how did he get all of those wins????!!!!  Luck I guess!!!! usually there is a reason why the kid is pushed aside... not a TRUE PLAYER, does not work hard, is selfish, attitude problem, cant get things right in the classroom, off field antics... these could be the reason other than the coach is playing the political role. And as for Barbers Hill winning district..... Crosby still has Gabby... You have not beat him yet and I believe the coach will throw him at you both times... good luck!!!

I think kville will dominate this scrimage. as for them vs 20-4A. I think they would make playoffs at least.... 20-4A teams run the spread.... their D is not set up for kville's O. It is hard to adjust for one week....Kville would control the clock the whole game...... They may be short in numbers but I have seen these men... they are big, fast, talented and experenced.... not to many kids even in 4A can run a 4.3 forty like ford....they could hang with the big boys...

PNG had a good year and they are good but even with Kane Benoit, I did not see them beating Brenham.... the bottom bracket of the Playoffs were easier... just look what Nederland did... and Buda Hays got smoked by Brenham... Crosby has given them their best challenge yet... Great season by PNG though.....

[/quote]you are right about talent going up in 3A but not as much as you would think.... you are quoting stats that were put up by his JR. year against 3A teams but remember almost all of the team from last year were JR..... as for kville not being able to go to state I think you are wrong about that.... the last time they were in 3A they got beat in the 3rd round by China Springs which was a state finalist... and that team were mainly Jr. as well... As for the 70 yard run you want to take away... that is the Kville off...... make one mistake and they take it to the house!!!!.....

Congratulations to Crosby Players and coaching staff on a great season.... the kids battled all game......never gave up....... just shows the character...... the game could have gone either way..... minis a couple of mistakes and some calls that that went Crosbys way (esp the steal home in the 6th that would have tied the game.....bad call...tag was on his knee in front of home plate...I think it cought the ump off guard... delayed on call...)...... but that is baseball..... Good luck to Brenham on a great game.... I hope playing these talented Coogs prepaired yall to win state!!!!

The reason why Kale had problems throwing strikes had to do with pain in his elbow and a mechanics problem that can be fixed….. But Kale was not the reason why you did not win district or a playoff game….. From this quote right here tells the real reason… you win and lose as a TEAM!!!!! If you want to finger point, turn your hand around…. This does not sound like the Kirbyville wildcats that I have grown to love!!! Work hard, play hard and believe in each other. 1) The .384 batting average was before scoring thirty runs last weekend on thirty? hits. 2) If JG pitched against the same opponents that CW has pitched against, he would not have 92 K's. 3) If CW pitched against the same opponents the JG has pitched against he could have have 120 K's. 4) ERA would be different as well.  Example: Brenham vs. 12 5A teams on schedule & Crosby vs. 5 or 6 3A teams on schedule [b]1) well I guess they played well against a Lehman team who was 8-19-1, has a team batting avg of .267 and a era of 9.63. they did not show there FP but i guess it was not good.....they were a bad team... I think Crosby JV would have given them a run for there money.... 2) As for pitching against 3A Gabby only pitched one inn agaist any 3A all year. Crosby got so far ahead they just pulled him out.... so there is your answer to 2, 3 and 4. Bottom line.... they are closer matched than everyone thinks....... If Crosby shows up to play they can and will win!!![/b]

kville won the second game 8-7. then lost game 3. great season wildcats. no reason to hang your heads....

good game dogs... dominate pitching by dogs. had them chasing all night. dogs scored 3 unearned runs in 1st. 2 out error by 3rd. was surprised they pulled Butler so early.. I know the score board said ned had 3 hits but really only 2....they gave a hit on a error by 1st....GCM had their chances in the 4th but left bases loaded... I know it is coming by GCM fans so I will just go ahead and say it…… yes the student body of Nederland was rude - had a microphone(which is illegal) and was calling out players by numbers (which is also illegal)....making rude commits to adult fans....but what do you expect out of some 15 and 16 year olds... really don't know the game, and how to act. the incident at the plate was handled great by ump.... ned kid was swinging then walked in front of the plate when the catcher was looking back kid at first... the catcher pushed the kid out of the way (which a smart catcher would have just thrown threw him making the kid already out)... the ned kid said some words to him... the catcher then pushed him away..... ump called time and talked to both kids... no reason to throw them out.. after that great baseball....good game dogs and good luck in next round.

none here. just like football. If KP wins tom, which I think they will, it will end up just like football. 1 and 2 advancing

Crosby would have won district if it wasen't for 2 bad inn that were full of errors that cost them two games (they beat the district champs KP twice.) 2. smoked Vidor (20-4A "7th ranked team") without there 3 and 4 hole hitters that are both batting over .400 with 3 bombs each. two JV players started last night. 3. GP finished 3rd in 19 4A and smoked PNG 11-4 (20 4A 4th team.) 4. Orangefield and Jasper do not see the pitching in 3A every game like they do in 4A So the question is why not????
