well i havent been on this forum in a while, but a friend told me about this tragedy today and i wanted to get on here and say something I didnt know joel as a person, but i knew he was a great baseball player who had a great future, i am very sad to hear about this....my prayers go out to his family for the loss...that just shows that nobody is guaranteed another day...

the only reason i voted on this was because i voted for jeff bagwell and he played back when the astros werent a bunch of idiots....he used to be my favorite player

well i personally cant stand the astros and i think the MLB could get rid of them.......the astros dont deserve to be a team

well though college is important and the horns sure could use him for next year, he was at the top of his game and his stock was at its highest and he knew it so he went to the NBA
