91' 24-21 over 3rd ranked WOS has to be their biggest upset ever. But this is definitely up there. -

I am proud of all four playoff teams and all of their kids and staff. But if i go into the MCM thread and say "Pirates rock dude, deal with it".... now whatcha think would happen my friend ? -

What ya know. I'll definitely be at the game next week. Awesome and unexpected win! -
Only stat that counts is the final score. But 14.2 is right about the amount of yards we gave up on the ground. Hope we are scouting them this weekend. Stats Crosby Vidor Total yards 420 306 First downs 18 24 Rushes/Yds 31/283 67/306 Average rush 9.13 4.57 Comp/Atts 9/20/1 0/2/0 Pass yards 137 0 Comp pct 45 0 Punts 3 4 Punting Yards 116 154 Punting Average 38.67 38.5 Fumbles/Lost 1/1 0/0 Penalties-yards 11-100 4-30

Those are all fair catch rules. Would apply if the player called for a fair catch. Doubt that is the case on an onside kick bouncing on the ground. If every onside kick was officiated like that one, the kicking team would never have a chance to recover. Use some common sense.

I imagine career because Montana has to have season record.

Geez. Pull the starters

Since you are a "Staff member" calling me out in the forum, let me give you a "quick math class" BH 14/18 212 78% - 15 yards per completion Lumb 10/16 245 63% - 24.5 yards per completion PNG 9/13 223 69% - 24.7 yards per completion Skylar Langelier 39-yard passfrom Cameron Cauthen Dylan Griffis 34-yard passfrom Cameron Cauthen Parker Burgess 29-yard passfrom Cameron Cauthen Remington Boykin 67-yard passfrom Brett Marcentell Keynel McZeal 58-yard passfrom Roschon Johnson Those are not stats of a team with strong defensive backs. I appreciate the fact you can watch the games, but maybe you don't understand the game as well as you think. I could throw out the passing numbers we gave up against Dayton, Montgomery, Angleton, and Summer Creek during our previous playoff run. But I'm sure it will be a mute point to you. Outscoring your opponent in a shootout is not defense. Even in our lean years, late 80s and 90s we had respectful defenses. "4-5 receivers going out for a pass and you have 2 cornerbacks". One of the most stupid statements I have even seen. You say this as if we are the only team that has to defend against it. Do other teams have 4-5 cornerbacks? Have you ever watched a high school football game that didn't involve Vidor? Might be worth taking a look how some defenses shut down passing offenses. With your logic, only passing teams are successful. I beg to differ. Research stats from the state championship games last year. It is a trend because of one major reason...how can you prepare DBs when you don't throw downfield in practice? Do your research before you call out a fellow fan Mr. Staff member.

I expect it to be another shoot out where we have to match them score to score to have a chance. But if we have secured the D2 1st spot by game time, might be less of a match. The fact that PAM hasn't seen our offense means nothing also. BH definitely proved that.
-
Yep. Scared me too. Same problem as tonight, deep pass. We really need to either blitz better or get more safety help. Ours CBs are just overmatched.
-
But the call wasn't offsides 99. What rule book has offsides as a 15 yard penalty?
-
Yes 99. We all heard or saw it.
-
Senior. Was injured his Junior year
-
We represent well for a team with a bascially losing hx. We like stadiums with plenty of room on the visitor side. I still remember our 2012 game against Montgomery in an Aldine ISD stadium. Standing room only.
-
Amazing and gusty call. Took away Vidor's potential advantage and momentum. Hat's off to Faircloth. We got out coached in second half.
-
It's all good man. It's a passionate game. Everyone kinda rails on Pirate fans and guess i was defensive. Good luck in the playoffs. Represent well.
-
Amazing 2nd half. Congrats
-
They got guys that will be playing on Saturdays. Need the highlights and stats.
-
That is good coaching and execution
-
You honestly hadn't until now. But very impressive.
-
They couldn't in 1st half. But woke up in 2nd
-
We won't play you guys again. Look to the playoffs. We got some possible easiers games next two weeks.
