Here's the thing that you guys refuse to acknowledge.  Y'all don't mind hateful rhetoric when it's Trump doing it.  But y'all sure like to point out the rhetoric coming from the other guys.  Any Trump voter has no right to criticize rhetoric, period.  Your guys is way worse about it. 
 
Secondly, you can't try to overthrow the government by sending fake electors to Washington, overrun the capitol to stop the counting of votes, promise Christians that they'll never have to vote again if they vote Trump now, intimidate state election officials like Trump did in Georgia, etc..... then be mad when somebody accurately calls your Dear Leader a threat to democracy.  HE'S THE BIGGEST INTERNAL THREAT TO DEMOCRACY THAT WE'VE SEEN IN MY LIFETIME.  If your side raises a Trump flag and attacks the capitol... y'all are a threat to democracy.  The fact that Trump has been re-nominated PROVES that you all supported Trump's attempt to overthrow the government, Period.   You just don't like people calling you out on your bull.  
 
Personally?  I think the whole "second attempt" is just an overblown attempt to re-create some of the drama from a couple of months ago when that young Republican took a shot at Trump. And I don't remember an big outpouring of concern here on the boards in 2011 when that young radical took shots at the Obama White House.  
 
How big of a moron does one have to be to believe that
1.  Democrat rhetoric is causing these attempts on Trump's life .
2. Trump's rhetoric on prior to and on the morning of 1/6 had nothing to do with the attack on the capitol.
You'd just have to be willfully stupid.  

If you call that a coup, what do you call Jan 6th?  I need to know where you're at on that before I can make my rebuttal.

I am still leaning towards voting for Trump.
Trump lost that debate with Harris. There is no arguing that point. Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional.

If you guys think the BIPARTISAN border bill was killed for any reason other than this election, I have some oceanfront property in Evadale for you.  And if the shoe was on the other foot, the Dems would have done EXACTLY the same thing.  The problem with politics is the ME will always be more important than the WE.  I’m sure there are exceptions to that but very few.  And neither of the choices at the top of the ballot in November would remotely be exceptions to that rule. 
 
As for another debate, I don’t know why Trump would think he’s in a position of power to negotiate.  He needs it far more than she does at this point, in my opinion.  However, while he is certainly not nearly as bad as Biden, I’m not sure Trump has the ability to perform at a high level against someone competent in a debate at this point. He’s obviously always been tough to keep on script and now you could see him struggling to organize his thoughts.  Honestly though, the way NO ONE gives any serious plans or ideas EVER in these debates (easier just to brag/lie about their records and, more often, criticize the other candidate), it’s crazy to me to base your vote off a debate.  Especially when in the amount of time you spend sitting there watching them prevaricate, you could research their actual records.

People like Reagan wake up every day and and purposefully look for something to make them angry. They have nothing else to cling or look forward to. 

Trump is legitimately SCARED of Kamala.
 
He needs all the help he can get right now and he doesn’t even want to attempt to partially redeem himself.

In fact, numerous conservative commentators and some of Trump’s own supporters have said Harris outperformed him.
But Trump in Thursday’s post wrote, “When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH.’”

I cant read what he said. Please let’s not play holier than thou with Kamala’s sexcapades vs. Trump. Sins of the flesh are the most tempting. I have admitted to being a sinner as are we all. I do not thump the Bible in people’s faces for political support….it’s so blasphemous. Hey, at least you didn’t say I worship him and we have created the metaphorical golden calf. Harris would choke because she doesn’t believe in God. The democrats boo God. Trump is a sinner, but he would take the oath.
 

And it wouldn't mean anything.  He'd hardly step foot in a church until he needed that support from the religious right.

Dems gave those voters someone that was more palatable than what was being previously offered.  The republicans gave them Trump and said "take it and like it", with the implicit understanding that anyone who chooses not to vote for him is an idiot and "the problem." We'll see how it turns out.  Doesn't look great.

Nothing democratic about the way Biden was handled. He’s been that way his whole term, but the decision wasn’t made until after Trump kicked his arse in the debate. I can’t stand Biden, but the timing of it all. He didn’t step down, he was forced out and you all know it. You don’t have the guts to admit it.

I think Biden would of been easier to beat - and so did the Democratic leadership.
I'm not a normal Republican - I got no joy seeing Biden struggle. My Mother struggled for over 10 years with Alzheimer's before passing and my Father died at 90 with Dementia. Talking him out of running that second term was probably just as difficult as it was for me taking my Fathers keys to his truck.
So no, I do not wish Biden back on the ticket.

Harris won the debate.
Not sure what that means going forward with the election, but she did better than Trump last night. She was more prepared.
