Lufkin should beat CS tomorrow night.

If Lufkin plays a clean game they should win this one by 10-14 points. Stylistically this isn't a good matchup up for College Station based on what I've seen on tape. Most of these kids have played against each other as freshmen. So a little familiarity.

As long as Morton is playing La Porte will have their hands full.

You guys ain't have to do them like that lol. How bad does it have to be for a coach in a playoff game to be like yeah just run the clock. He might as well at halftime said coach we outta here 😂

Usually there is a limit. Not sure what it is this year but last year in Lufkin's district it was 15 points. It's a really good question we need to get the answer too.

I was impressed with the effort United played with. I do think our offense would have gotten going with the extra possessions. BU has some good looking kids. Maybe a player or two away from having something. Maybe someone can tell me why West Brook didn't join Central and Ozen. Now that would be a real quality team but for sure 6A numbers. Overall good win tonight for the Pack. The defense is unbelievable and still not 100% healthy but getting closer. Excited for next week. Can't wait.

West Brook may need to run QB power the rest of the game.

I would like to see TXHSFB implement a second bye week. Either during the season or give everyone a week off before post season play. NFL and NCAA have 2 bye weeks during the year.

Went to the hospital this morning and he doesn't have a fracture. Thankfully. They said he can play just needs to wrap it up and brace it. Will probably sit out the United game.

My son might have fractured his arm tonight #15. Gonna find out in the morning once the swelling goes down and get it checked out. He couldn't play at all in the 2nd half. He said he was gonna give it a go but his adrenaline wore off. So he had a sling on. Hopefully this isn't his last game. He had a big hit late 1st quarter on the sideline. Fired Big Nasty up. Missing several starters tonight going in and lost 2 on defense during the game. Total of 5 starters on defense were out. 3 of them will be back for sure.

Oh yeah we may have crossed paths before. I'm probably not gonna make the trip to PA but if you make the Lufkin trip you gotta hit me up. We can get out pre game on lol

We could have easily dropped a 40 burger on WB but Lufkin will just grind the clock in the 2nd half. Kinda like we did against BH. Don't even really think we tried to score in the 4th on them. I think PAM will have to drag us into a shootout or other wise we will get up by a few scores and start to work the clock. This maybe one of our more talented teams we've had in a very long time but they're also one of the more physical teams we've had in a very long time offensively and defensively. Lufkin is going to try to turn this game into a bar fight with physical play and I think PAM is just fine with it. That's what makes this game exciting.

Lufkin has plenty of speed and a more than capable QB who was a starting WR before we lost our QB for the season essentially in the scrimmage against Huntsville. We're gonna try to run the ball but if PAM loads the box and the numbers say pass we will definitely take some shots. You're gonna see a ton of motion from the WRs and Backs with a little option mixed in. We have a pretty good RPO post that we don't run nearly enough. Might not even see it Friday but something to watch for. If we hit that play it's probably gonna go for 6. I really think we're saving it for the postseason because we hardly ever show it. I think the PAM defense will present a big problem and it's not gonna be easy. Lufkin will need to execute and play defense to win this one. I'm confident we can win this one but PAM is definitely game enough to take it. I personally think this is our toughest district game stylistically.

If Morton plays in taking BH if he doesn't I'm taking Ball. I think Ball could be in trouble here. BH is going to have the offensive line to really cause Ball trouble in the trenches. It may get labeled upset if BH wins but I'm not really sure it should be. They're more than capable of beating Ball.

I was on the 04 team and I like to think we were better than the 05 team. Jorvorski Lane is the difference in the two teams and I can't put anyone over the state team although I think we could have definitely played with them in 04 and 05. The glory years. This current Lufkin team is a true throwback. Big time defense and a offense that has weapons all over the field. They have a chance to make an unbelievable run this year.

I expect both defenses to get after it but I think the Lufkin run defense will be the difference in this game. Don't think PAM will be able to pass the ball consistently enough to get us out the box. I still think PAM is a year away and Lufkin's time is right now. Lufkin 31 PAM 14
