Id put our defense up against anyone in 5A. Outside of 4-5 plays against Tyler they have absolutely dominated this year including holding Longview to 7. Longview dropped more points on SOC then both Duncanville and NS. Longview also dropped a 40 burger on Forney. I'm gonna throw some scores out and we can do some Aggy math just to get an idea. Longview 41 Forney 14 Consolidated 35 Forney 34 Consolidated 25 Weiss 19 Consolidated 34 C Stat 20 Longview 7 Lufkin 3 Also taking into consideration we beat AMC the last 2 years and we're significantly better now. I'm starting to think we might be the favorite 😎.

This seems like a Golden Triangle family issue imma stay out of it 😂. On a serious note I was impressed with WB against Lufkin. They play hard and physical. The QB is a stud. They will probably have something down the road if the coach can figure it out.

BWB will not be able to generate enough offense to win this one. The QB will make a few runs but that's pretty much it. They do have some decent screen plays PAM will need to watch. Maybe tight early but PAM should get some separation as the game unfolds.

With Morton both of those are winnable games especially Weiss. Lufkin has beaten Consolidated the last 2 years when we weren't even that good. Those are good teams in that district but maybe a tad bit overrated. Just get healthy come playoff time.

If PAM secondary has issues then I can see this one getting out of hand. However PAM has the personal to slow down BH. They need to double Morton and make someone else beat them. BH goes as Morton goes. He's the best kid I've seen Lufkin face this year. The main concern for me is can the PAM offense get going against the BH defense. They're pretty solid on that side.

Lufkin left 3 TDs on the field and once we got to the 4th with the lead we just ran the clock out. Same with BH. We didn't press the issue in the 4th. Literally just ran the ball. Lufkin held WB to there lowest point total. You should talk about that. Interesting.

I personally think Lufkin is gonna beat Ball by a few scores. I think they're gonna struggle with us in the trenches on both sides of the line.

Definitely have to get outta this one healthy. On paper it's a mismatch but they will have the athletes to matchup in some areas. Westbrook is already drastically improved from a year ago and might be headed in the right direction. Lufkin needs to continue to improve and clean up the little things.
