Huntington is tough at home i think it will definitely be a better game there.

New Waverly is a very athletic team and play hard I think they are going to be a state team again in 2a.

There was a little jawing between the fans from both Cleveland and Barbers Hill which was uncalled for. It seemed that Cleveland was upset at some of the calls mostly in the first half of the game that forced some of the Cleveland players to sit the bench because of foul trouble, but however the second half was officiated decent and Cleveland was just outplayed. The players on Cleveland were not involved in the conflict in the stands the coach brought all of his players away and the altercation didnt last very long. BH is a very tough place to play in and has always been that way nobody should have expected differently. I believe the Cleveland team handled themselves very well and were good sports as well as BH team. Good tournament. Cleveland will be healthy after the break all of the players will be ready for district. You can say silsbee wasnt healthy against Cleveland but Cleveland doesnt have one of their better players playing either.

What a game tonight!!!! I have been reading these posts and it is sad. The refs let the players play. You are right they did make bad calls but it did not give any one team an advantage. The technical fouls came in with 22 seconds on the clock and Cleveland was up by seven so that really didn't matter. Silsbee didn't shoot that well from the field but that doesn't mean that Cleveland didn't play decent defense. I think Silsbee could beat cleveland but not any given night, I see them splitting games because they match up so well with each other. Silsbee has a great team a good coach and they play hard. Cleveland does start 4 sophomores and one junior but they will be starting 5 sophomores when one of their better players comes back from an injury. Cleveland has just been under the radar on this site they have beat really good teams, Willowridge, baytown sterling, lufkin, and now silsbee. The scoring looked balanced tonight from Cleveland I believe the 4 sophmores were in double figures. It is exciting to see this sophomore group for the next 3 years. Good luck silsbee I hope everyone gets to see this matchup again because it will be a great game.

This game will be decided on defense. Both teams have great offenses, but which team will get the most stops? Which team has the better defense?

I have a feeling this is the week Cleveland will fall. It should be a very good game.

SHSU in the other post you said that Huffman was going to get smoked by silsbee because they had too much speed and now you are saying that Cleveland will lose to Huffman. I am agreeing with you that Huffman will win but your posts are not adding up.

I am goin to go with the first prediction. Huffman is the only team that has a chance against a 21-3A team. Look at what they did to splendora.
