  1. Chapel Hill has struggled defending teams that throw the ball efficiently. If Huffman can do that they have a shot. The X factor in the game is #12 from Chapel Hill. He is the best player on their defense by far. He can take over a game if you don't have a plan for him. It will be interesting to see
  2. This year is Kilgore team looks and plays ALOT different. Longview news paper has them passing for 2400 Passing yards and right at 1200 Rushing yards. From what I've read they have had a lot more success throwing the ball. Regardless, Slot T is a lot harder to stop when you haven't seen it. Not to mention Vidor has put up 61, 55, 57 in the last three games.
  3. It seems like everyone on these forums is down on D10. LCM, BC, and Hargraves all have very good looking kids and decent records. What do yall know that I don't?
  4. Just looking at their roster it seems like they definitely LOOK the part. They TE and WR's are huge! They also have a huge D-lineman. They pass the eye test. And score A LOT of points.
  5. If they can stop their rushing attack they will have success. Defensively they have the second best defense in D9. It will be hard to score.
  6. New here, coming over from smoaky. But didn't see a thread on this and wanted to get some homer thoughts. CHill has been without their starting QB for 5 weeks. The Texas Commit at RB was injured during their game with Pine Tree. No official word om either of their return. Offensively without these two they struggled, but seemed to find themselves in their week 11 match up against Henderson. What are your thoughts? What is the scouting report on Huffman? from 1-9 to 9-1 big turn around. What changed?
  7. If BC's defense can stop the run, PT's offense struggles throwing the football. They are a downhill running team, with the play action deep ball over the top. Now their WRs can Fly, its just whether or not the Back up can distribute the ball.
  8. I wouldn't call this game just yet, Vidor has had some injuries that have held them back. Plus this style of offense can give teams that aren't used to seeing it trouble.
