or maybe Shepherd's THAT much better this year than what people think they will be? Only time will tell.

You cannot just use this scrimmage as the big idea of what BC will be like this year though. Obviously they had to of played not to their potential because i've heard way more in store with this team. Coaches do not pull out all their plays in scrimmages, coaches try different groups of people with different groups of people, and I know there is no way that the starters played this whole scrimmage. Give coach Stump time to work with the players still, we got a long time until district and still a week before the first game. But i still think HJ is going to beat BC. 8) I honestly didn't see them switch the starters around. I saw them sub players but not change from 1st string to 2nd. When the actual game scrimmage started Shepherd's Defense manhandled BC offense. It almost seemed like everytime you looked up BC's QB was getting sacked. BC's Defense was good. They hit hard and held Shepherd down pretty good until they let Shepherd's RB in the open field. The real problem i saw with BC was they were moving the ball down the field but they got tired, towards the end of the scrimmage they were all leaning on eachother on their bench and looked as though they we're going to pass out while Shepherd continued to dominate BC's O. In all BC's Offense looked bad, Defense looked good, Conditioning was the worse out of all 3.

Was this a controlled or game type? Either way, this is not the BC team I was expecting this season. I am sorry, but Shepherd is not very good. thats exactly what i was thinking. I'm just going to guess that BC did what HJ did against Hardin and kept their starters out after a few drives on offense. If BC couldn't score even once against Shepherd, they need to do alot of spicing up. kept em out a few drives? they must kept them out the entire game to let Shepherd beat them! History tells the story that Shepherd is not very good at all.

Have you seen Cleveland's FB? Hes 5' 10" 280 and runs a 4.8 and hurdled a few players throughout our district. HJ must have some Trains playing fullback for em if they can top this kid.

Yeah, Splendora is always good. They had a off year last year, but i think they will be back to normal this year.

He was here today, and told me that he had no broken bones in face or anything.

We had one at Cleveland, it bugged me that the majority of the people werent even big! :-X

Ahh, But i am! 8) Hey admire your spunk but where did the new coach from? Aldine. he went something like 3-5 his first year, 6-4 the next, and was ousted after another 3-5 season. He coached Forth-Worth Dunbar before Aldine where i think he won District like 4 times straight. He also coached in Army All-American Bowl in 2006 (?) i think.

What do you know about Bob Jones? How do YOU know thats it's not about to change? What do you base this off of? This thread has nothing to with Shepherd, but you bring us into and mock us for being excited about our New AD, Who we believe can turn this around. if your from Shepherd, PLEASE GET OUT. We don't need people like you running our program into the ground. That's half the problem. Players don't think we can win, which we can, because people from the school and in the town talk about how Shepherd sucks, you'll never win, etc. Please keep your negativity to yourself, We believe in Coach Jones, and were looking up.

Kevonte Shaw for Shepherd. The boy can fly. He ran a legit 4.43 as a sophmore, and has one of the biggest work ethics on the team. look out for him!

Great season Cleveland, this has to be a heart wrenching lose. :'( But, on the bright side, there is always next year, and the year AFTER that!!!! ;D This is a great way to build for next season, where the starting 5 will be juniors. I think Cleveland wins a State 3A basketball championship before that starting 5 graduates!!!! ;D 8) ;D 8) Great win Hawks!!!!

if this is correct then HJ would be 0-3 vs 22-3A. They lost to Cleveland twice in football, they will probably beat Liberty in Basketball, because from what i can tell basketball is their sport and they've got a hell of a team. Just sayin! ;D

Rankings are biased. and we don't know how far we'll go or you'll go into the playoffs, they haven't happened yet! you can't base everything off the past, unless you play the exact same game with the exact same players.

How do you figure? You can't know this until you see every team in 22-3A lose to every team in 21-3A. ??? ??? i've never got how our districts always got dissed as not being as good as 21-3A and one of the weakest in the State. please tell me how you know this? :'(
