  1. Congrats Vidor! Keep up the good work!
  2. WooHoo! Way to go boys! Thanks everyone for your kind words. THAT's sportsmanship!
  3. Thanks. If that doesn't work, I've got the Duct tape ready,
  4. Yes. It is. I just hope that everyone will realize that the boys are just really excited, and though their mouths are trying to overload their backsides, they don't necessarily speak for everyone. The coaches and parents are all VERY proud of our boys and the team that they have become. No doubt about that. BUT...come on Boys...shut your mouths and open your ears! YOU are going to be your own downfall. You guys are so busy running your mouths you aren't listening to what's being said. Next thing we know, you'll be too busy blabbing to hear what Coach Credeur tells you to do. If you boys want respect, you need to earn it by showing some respect!

  7. I'll probably drop by the mall on Saturday. Gonna be really busy Friday night with LHS's football game. GUSHER hasn't mentioned if he will be in attendance yet or not. I think he's been being kinda lazy in the off season. Or, he may just be laying low, so he doesn't steal the spotlight from the players, ya know?  For those of you NON-hockey fanatics, stop by and see it you can "catch" some of our enthusiasm!
  8. We need to hear more stories like this!!
  9. Props vp93!!!! Somebody finally gets it!
  10. Thank you piratefan, for your support! We wish your team the best of luck, too! Will you be coming to our house for the homecoming game? If so, please come by and ask someone where to find me. I'll probably even come over to visit with Mr. Touchstone during the 3rd. Would love to meet you.

  13. [Hidden Content] Beaumont, TX (August 24, 2006) The Texas Wildcatters Hockey Team, ECHL affiliate of the AHL’s Houston Aeros, is pleased to announce the signings of Jason Beeman and Keith McWilliams. The two newest Wildcatters come to Southeast Texas after stints at the end of last season with the Long Beach Ice Dogs under their former coach and current Wildcatters head coach Malcolm Cameron. Beeman, 21, joined Long Beach for the playoffs last season and in seven postseason contests he netted two goals and had three assists for five points with 16 penalty minutes. Before his time in Long Beach , the 5’11’’, 210 pound native of Diamond Bar , CA spent five seasons in the WHL with the Tri-City Americans, accounting for 68 goals and 97 assists for 165 points and 555 penalty minutes in 326 games. He lead Tri-City to the playoffs in four out of his five seasons and was named the team’s unsung hero in 2005-06 when he scored 28 goals and had 30 assists for 58 points in just 60 games. The right winger is a tough gritty player who drives opponents crazy and looks forward to his first full season of professional hockey with the Wildcatters. “I’m excited to get there to Texas ,†said Beeman. “I have never been there before and I can’t wait to start playing. I’m pumped and counting the days down.†Wildcatters Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Malcolm Cameron saw Beeman first hand display a knack for scoring big goals during last season’s Kelly Cup Playoffs. “Jason made a major contribution down the stretch and into the playoffs with his tough aggressive style,†said Cameron. “He creates havoc on the ice which in turn creates scoring opportunities.†McWilliams, 23, is a defenseman who spent the last month of the regular season with Long Beach playing in 15 games. He also helped Long Beach on the blue line in seven playoff contests. McWilliams is a good skating defenseman who can jump into the play and create offense with his speed. The 5’11’’, 195 pound native of Valencia , CA attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy , NY . In four seasons of collegiate hockey, he played in 114 games, netting 15 goals and 25 assists for 40 points. Prior to college, McWilliams played two seasons with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League. Coach Cameron is happy to have McWilliams who is also a very good penalty killer and shot blocker. “Keith is a very versatile defenseman, equally good on the penalty kill as on the rush,†said Cameron. “We are looking for Keith to play the same role he did in college last season. Both these guys are very passionate and hard working, and these are the characteristics that will make the Wildcatters successful this season.†The new-look Wildcatters open their third season on October 20 at Florida , before returning to Ford Arena for their home opener on October 28 against the Pensacola Ice Pilots. 14. Apparently you didn't hear me...this is a different team. They'll have a few leftovers from last year, but the juniors are the driving force here. I never said they'd be the absolute...just don't rule them out.
  15. Well, I'm a mom who wouldn't really care about football if my son weren't playing, but even I know that this year's Raiders are a force to be reckoned with! This is the group that have been together since 7th and 8th grade. Can you say UNDEFEATED? Mike Minton and Danny Golden did a great job. That's not to say that they'll sail through the season that way again, but you'll dang sure know they're here! If it doesn't happen this year, it will most certainly happen in '07-'08! These kids have already been playing for Credeur for a couple of years, and they know how he runs the show. They have nothing but the ustmost respect for him. Some of his underling coaches may leave a little to be desired, but I know as far as my boy goes, Credeur ROCKS! Ya'll better put the glass slippers away, cuz the Raiders are coming to raid the Castle!
