[/quote] Yep, I saw that too.... at one point I thought he was gonna throw his helmet.  Can't have that kind of attitude surfacing.  I know there is alot of frustration with the outcome of the game and all but he has to show more control than that and represent for his team and the fans that are watching him. I really think Bevil needs to step it up a notch or Coach W. may be looking to someone else for QB. Oh, and btw, I have season tickets and haven't missed a home game.  I stay until the end too.

I agree. DID NOT LIKE the guy and girl flag dancers on center stage.  Sorry.  Everything else looked great, band has a wonderful sound.  The twirling routine was really nice.  Did I hear the announcer say the feature twirler was Rebeccah Mosley.... isn't she from Nederland?  Drill team looked good also.

I am seeing a lot of posters say that the kicker is not holding up his end of the deal.... I could not agree with you more.  It's ashame that they let Taylor Trahan slip through their fingers.  We definitely would not have to worry about missed field goal attempts!

Deffense is working very well and our offense is really finding their timing and coming together.  As far as fumbles....Lumberton shouldn't look to count on that this Friday night for a chance.  Nederland will come out this friday looking very polished and with a well rehearsed game plan.  And not to mention... HOMECOMING.... really now.... Bulldogs with a win at the Dog Pound. GO DOGS.... BEAT THOSE RAIDERS !!!!!!

[/quote] Well said PNG1, well said...... every town is divided when their team isn't winning games like they want them to.  I witnessed the posts myself from Nederland fans.... I will say, I was embarassed and hurt by it because I have a lot of PRIDE for my DOGS, and I am at EVERY game, winning or losing.  I think that is what a fan should do, unfortunately, some people are only fans if their team is winning.  PNG fans need to stick with their team and support them, they are a good team and they will see their way through.  I wish the Inidans the best of luck for the rest of the season.  A post like yours reflects class towards your fellow team and fans.  PNG needs more fans like yourself.

DOG fans, if you remember, the very same comments were being posted last year about our expected performance and outcome of the game.  We went to Livingston and showed them we were there to take care of business just like we will do this Friday night.  If anyone thinks that our team is not gonna be fired up for this Friday has a surprise coming.  We are gonna give them a heck of a fight!!!  We beat 'em on their home turf last year  and we will do it again this Friday. GO BULLDOGS !!!!!!!

Back in the day (70's) when McDonald was the band director, the band would march with the lights out and had flash lights strapped to their legs. Made for a nice half time show.  Not sure why they quit doing those routines though. Heard that it had something to do with the old light system back then getting turned on in time for the teams to come back out. idk. Nice to see that Vidor has developed their homecoming shows into something really exciting to see.

Neumann has stated in numerous interviews, newspapers... TV .... and radio, that Dionte will be expected back as starting QB as soon as he healed up from his injuries and was released to play.  He made no secret of that. I never heard at any time that he had any intentions of keeping Raines as QB.  Why all of sudden this student feels he needs to quit to make a point and then go to PNG is beyond me. Not a team payer IMO.  Team is fine, Neumann will be fine.... they will show up at Vidor tomorrow night and take care of business.  Fans will back Neumann and the team like we always do.  Neumann is a good coach and always finds a way to iron out the problems and play some good football. Good luck to the kid that quit... gonna be a long Senior year for that young fellow.
