Dayton by 17. Big plays in the 3rd and 4th will get the win for Dayton, possibly more. BH played some good ball though. Not sure what happened in the 4th.

Whats the song that Bridge City, Vidor, and LCM use for kick offs. Its after the fight songs. BC and LCM usually use it for kickoffs and Vidor usually comes marching off the field to it. That's a really good song.

I'm confident in the offense.  Its the defense the last few years. The game that comes to mind is the Nederland/Livingston game couple of years back. 100 points scored and we lose. You score 50+ points in a game your supposed to win.

Several years back an old school official at Png tried to get a combined complex going where the Heb is at on Twin City. Why not get things rolling in front of the Airport on 69? Enough space for football "Mecca" center (I''m Catholic don't take offense), parking. Just curious if "we" could make that work?

Central PNG Nederland Ozen/Lcm

Why are we worried about the offense or who is going to play qb?  I want to know and hope we concentrate on the D. That has been our weakness. Its great we score 30, 40 or 50 points but if we give up just as much that nullifies our offense.

GODogs27: "2001 Playoffs - Nederland vs. Magnolia (or Friendswood).. cant remember which game it was but we were significant underdogs in whichever one it was that im thinking of.." That was the Quarter finals of the D2 4A Friendswood was ranked 7th.  We won 25-0. I remember they blew all 3 time outs within the first 2 minutes of the first quarter.  That was the second time we played at Rice. We had a scare the week before because we fumbled in the endzone and kick the ball out for a safety when playing Belton. The D held and we won by two or three. I MISS those NEDERLAND/PNG double headers at Rice. That is my favorite stadium to watch our games at. It big, never a bad seat, and echoes when fans get loud.

Png wins this 35-17 (maybe higher on both sides of the ball.) I would watch big plays from 2 players D-Ron and H-man.  I think smash mouth football and the run ends up winning this.

37-20 PNG (could be more if png keeps the excitement jitter under control). Hats off to the Players, and coaches from accross the railroad. Good Luck to both PNG and Central this week.

I know were struggling with injuries but it take us more than 5+ years to learn how to stop the run? I scratching my own head at that one. I give credit to the Ozen coaches too in OT seeing the weakness on the 25yrd td pass.

I hope our D © goes back to the drawing board. Thats going to be the key to the win here. No one can hide from it. (Not saying names, i got scolded from that last week). We move the ball tonight and we blew it a couple of times. We have a week to figure out how to stop the run, and force them to pass. Watch the D and we can stop a short pass. We have trouble with bombs, and runs.

Remember we have one less ref then the NFL. Can we borrow the back judge(for next week). This district is tough. I think Central will take it to the top. I give Vidor much credit. I think they will be up there with no doubt after that. IHOP will like the business for the toss though!

We got the screens and the options down. But long passes, or any other run, I might need a tissue or shoulder to cry on.

If Ozen can fix the penalties they can make things work. Everyone says sloppy thats what comes with wet fields. Only surprise was Ozen didn't try to pass more.

Thanks, PhatMack19! Yes the D showed up in the 4th! But how can u compete when the opposing team can run 50+ twice on you. Yes we had turnovers, but so did they. I am toting the line (not crossing)! The last five years we seemed to play pass protective D, when most the teams in our district run. Although we give up yards on the secondary on long passes as in OT. (Png mixing is up a lil this year, other wise i put png in there too.) Give it to Ozen cause minus the penalties they could be up there. If anyone question the players in all honestly I think there good both offense and defense. I am not attacking anyones character. (I think a coaching change would beneficial, NOT NEUMANN, but one of the others). NOT Crossing just toting!
