I talked with Jeff before the season started picking up my season tickets. He said this group of kids had a lot of heart like my son's team did that sharedTri District champs with Memoral and PNG. So far this team has proven that all year. I have no doubt they will continue.

Tim graduated IN 83. 82 season.

Tim Hagler did not have the record. Bryan Harris had it. Tim did not play tailback till our senior year. He did not start at tailback till our 3rd game of the season. But in the six games he started before he tore his knee up he had over 1200 yards rushing and he started at strong side linebacker. And was voted most valuable player in district for offense and defense.

That's right and we will be doing it in a 2 point stance!!!!!!!!

Is the city of Nederland going to have a crew of city employees picking up all the dog crap after this game? I think the "dawg" faithful are going to be crapping everywhere after this game is over. Would hate to smell this all the way back home.

Who would have thought before we played Central and Ozen that Jeff would not have to bring our spread punting team out. How rare is it these days for a High School team to not punt at least one time in a High School game. Did Nederland have to punt against Lee. I know Central and Ozen has a better D than Lee. I am just saying right now Vidor's offence is clicking on all cylinders. And yes we will probably have to punt several times in this game. My original post was just a jab at Mosley post. But I do think Vidor will win this game.

I don't think Nederland will see Vidor's spread punting team. Jeff has not had to use it the last 2 weeks.

Maybe it just might be 9-10 year to be up at the top. Between 9-10 they have 3 of the top rushers in the area. And if they have some of the top rushers in the area that would lead me to believe they have some of the best o lineman in the area. You don't run the ball well without a good o line. #10 had 515 yards rushing on a defense last week that everybody on this site has been praising up to the end of that game. So there is either a lot of people on this site that don't know what they are talking about ( including me) or they just might be better than what the people on this site is giving them credit.

Good job guys on a great season!!!! After what i  watched this season with all of the area 8th grade football teams. There is going to be some great friday night lights in the next 3-4 years.

Vidors 8th grade A team went undefeated this year and locked up the district championship last night. Vidors 8th and 9th grade teams are vary good and will be contenders when they get to varsity. There is a lot of talent on these 2 teams.

The LeJune ( ?spelling) from pn-g was a very good back, and also CO Wilson had a very good back not sure of his name, small but very fast and quick with good vision to see the holes.

I had not heard that. no one posted any scores last week. so i guess Vidor is the only unbeaten team left. Sounds like district champs to me!!!!!
