You would be correct. He is walking on at McNeese but did suffer a torn ACL this summer---he is rooming with Dayton's Ford Smesny---from former rivals to good friends A couple of years ago another grad from PNG was to play for the cowboys and also tore up his knee, dont think he ever made it back.

He's not on the roster and I did not seem him at scrimmage or on media day.

As for turning kids in for using you better have hard core proof and facts to back up your accusation, now we can go through the weight room and pretty well pick out the kids using but that dont hold water. Your right kids will be kids but life is all about making the right choice. Like I've told my kids before they were grown the prison and cemetary are full of young men that have made mistakes. Your also right about the pros and until they stop it there it will always be a problem at the lower levels. The pros could stop it tomorrow but the enhanced ability of the atheletes put butts in the seats and thats the bottm line.$$$$$$$$$$$

Any drug dealer worth his salt would never rat out his users unless theres a great plea deal involved. He may need them later.

I whole heartedly agree. Try explaining that logic to a 16 or 17 year old who dreams of a scholorship and works hard to get it, then see one who gets busted for steriods (using and selling I assume) and cannot play their senior year because of it, but is awarded a chance to play at the next level. I think that is certainly sending the WRONG message out to the hard working honest athletes. Very well put.

I know for a fact he is not and that it has been going on for awhile not only in se texas but all over the state, but so for he is the only one from se texas that has been caught and prosecuted, so saying anyone else is using is purely speculation until they are caught. So keep on testing.

I think it had an impact on thier decline because he was going to be the starting running back that was excelling in track before he got caught.

I dont think the finger was pointed at BC I think the young man from BC got busted. You have to wonder.

If he did get a scholarship that is ashame because that justifies his cheating in so many young peoples minds. He was rewarded for what he did.

This is why testing is a good thing, it just may be enough to discourage use among atheletes. Look at major league baseball after all the media attention you dont see anyone running wild with the long ball like in years past. I'am not saying its not still going on but you have to feel its been slowed.
