I dont think this will be the year they'll be competitive the o-line will be experienced but not many more. Good luck to them.

I,ve watched football games at WOS lower levels where scoring on an another team should be slowed down, Dan standing in the end zone watching his 7th or 8th grade team winninig by 30 or more and have 7 or 8 kids never get in the game only to leave the starters in. So imo what goes around comes around. I dont have a problem with runnin it up in high school but the lower grades I dont think its the thing to do.jmo

I personally believe that score is disgraceful. Not for WOS, but for the Lumberton coach that allowed his players to continue scoring goals. I have no connection to either team with the exception of coaching one of the Lumberton players in club soccer in the past. As a fan of the game I find this score offensive. Cant ask a bench warmer not to score if he gets the chance.

Your right the football program still has problems but in LCM defense in other sports they are pretty good and thats one thing WOS cant say except for softball.jmo Hey 77 you are correct on most of the sports, but our boys track team won the region last year and are looking pretty strong this year!! We also have a good boys and girls tennis team year in and year out!! OK I stand corrected.( is that two t's or one?)

Mustangfan is nearly 100% correct last year when I was on the JV team we "LCM" placed third in district at the JV level but all of that team's coaches have left except for the one that no one liked and we all quit. Some of this was because all of the other sports we played had a more promising future but the coaches didnt help the amount of players that came back If your not playing because of who the coach is then your heart is not in the game, and thats part of the problem at LCM, playing for yourself and not your teammates and buddies.jmo.

Why is WOS having thier meet at Orangefield?

The program is called inspire XII and starting this year graduating seniors from LCM and WOS will reap the benefits. It pays fees and tuition to any accredited texas school or trade school in the state of Texas. There are stipulations but it is a wonderful program. I and so many other parents are truely grateful for these individuals that have made this possible.

Anybody know how the scrimmage went Monday?
