1. 42-0 Diboll Final
2. Diboll 45 Center 42 Final
3. Punt return TD Center. Diboll 45 Center 42 4:00 4th
4. Diboll fumbles on own 13 and Center recovers. Diboll 45 Center 34
5. TD Diboll Diboll 45 Center 26 6:47 4th
6. They did lose a few on both sides...mainly QB. They still have very tall receivers that will give secondaries trouble.
7. TD Center on 58 yard pass. Center recovers onside kick. Diboll 39 Center 26 4th
8. TD Diboll!! Diboll 39 Center 19 1:48 3rd
9. Field goal Center. Diboll 32 Center 19 4:11 3rd
10. Diboll 32 Center 16 9:00 3rd
11. Diboll 20 Center 9 Half
12. Gilmer was conservative on their third drive by trying to kick a field goal from the 9 instead of going for it and they missed. Diboll drove down the field and scored to make it 14-7. That drive gave Diboll the confidence to make this a game. From that point on Gilmer tried the best they could to put Diboll away but Diboll flat out kept fighting. Playing down to competition went away early in this game so that's no excuse. Sorry the poor 2-8 team didn't roll over and let Gilmer wipe their feet on then. BTW...your team still won 50-28 so don't be so down on your boys.
13. Diboll wins in 5 sets. Class 4A volleyball playoffs: Diboll advances past West Orange-Stark (24-26, 25-21, 25-10, 24-26, 15-10).
14. Looks like the Tatum run defense folded like a tent. Nice W Jasper!! To be honest I had it picked the other way, but I'm not surprised that Jasper ran through them.
15. Diboll has played pretty well on defense despite the struggles on offense and tough competition. The Lumberjacks did get a W tonight against a Cleveland team with some good size.
16. Cleveland
17. I think Cleveland is open as well, so that may be an option.
18. That would be awesome. Diboll has already played Crockett, Newton, and Center back to back, so why not throw BC in the gauntlet too.
19. Man I hate to hear that, and I hope the young man recovers soon. Honestly I think your secondary will be fine against the Diboll pass simply because they do not go vertical much at all. The backups will need the speed to run down the Diboll backs if they get loose, but speed has never been a problem in Newton. This will be a tough game for my Lumberjacks and hope they can get the run game going to keep the Eagle O off the field. Hope this game is clean and competitive, and of course, officiated with fair and consistent refs.
20. Wow..that was in 2008. I do recall the officiating being pretty bad for both teams. However I do not blame officiating for Newton giving up 39 points. Diboll had a good squad that year and I think they were better than Newton for the first time in many years. Diboll went on to beat Nac and Jasper the following weeks. Diboll's only losses after the Newton game were to State Champs Carthage for the district title and to Gilmer in the playoffs.
21. I am a little surprised Center is rank ahead of Jasper, but I guess Jasper will get the chance to back up the hype created in other polls when they meet Carthage and Center in district play. Looks like my Lumberjacks are in for a tough district.
22. First off, Congrats to the Tigers for a great season!! Do you guys think that maybe Tyler Powell threw a little too much in the Diboll series, or was LaGrange just that good with the bats?
23.
After seeing both the last 3 years. Powell, Hartman and Griffin match up well with Supak and Vinalek of LaGrange. Both teams are solid defense, Tigers hit the ball, imo, a little better 1-9.
I thought there were too many errors from both Silsbee and Diboll during this last series, so Silsbee needs to tighten that up a bit.
24.

Congrats Tigers! The Cardiac Jacks lived up to their name. Good luck in Austin!
Thank you, but this would have been much more sincere it written, "Congrats Tigers!  Good Luck in Austin!  The Cardiac Jacks lived up to their name."  But we get the gist. :)
??? I think just saying congrats is sincere enough coming from a man who just watched his team hang their cleets up. I'm pretty sure everyone who knows the outcome of the game knew what Lumberjack meant despite the order of words. Anyways, Congrats to Silsbee and I wish you the best of luck in Austin!!!
25.
You got this Tigers. Clamp down on their throat and don't let them breath!!! Go Tigers!!!
They may need Mark Henry's help for that. Now Diboll will fight with their backs to the wall. Should be exciting!! Go Jacks!!!
