Dayton made one of the best pass plays seen in any league. The long pass to the endzone was literally at the fingertips and the Nederland safety was on his heels. It looked like it was going to be overthrown.

On the kickoff after the first touchdown, the Dayton kicker fell down as he was kicking. He hit the top of the ball and it squibbed all the way to the endzone. A Nederland player touched it about the 15 yard line and both deep players didn’t attempt to recover it from the endzone. Dayton simply recovered it for a touchdown.

What a faux pas by Nederland.

Who? I am all in favor of freedom of speech. These agents weren’t charged with any crime. They have not been denied due process because they can appeal their termination and possibly get their jobs back. I don’t know about the FBI rules, but I know that most police departments have a conduct unbecoming policy. If you say or do something publicly which brings disrepute to the agency, you can face disciplinary action up to termination.
