Apparently the head of the largest school district in Iowa is an illegal alien who seems to have pending felony cases for firearms possession. After a pursuit he was arrested and had a handgun in his vehicle which will likely be an additional felony firearms charge in addition to one earlier in 2020. Do school districts not check on people applying to be the superintendent and going through the hiring process? And in my opinion, calling the possible cover up of the sexual assault of a child as wildly inappropriate, is being generous.

That’s what I was talking about in the masters thesis that I posted above. I believe that almost everything from a school district should be geared toward helping and protecting students. From my experience it is not necessarily so. Certainly mine is limited to a few years ago but has it changed any? We are all for the students!! Are they, at the expense of making someone look bad?

Gun control is certainly a hot topic. Are the people in favor of more or even extreme gun control tipping their hand by going after laws that would have little if any impact in firearms safety or homicide rates? Is it rationally based measures or simply a way of using emotions to eventually completely ban private ownership while (falsely) claiming to respect the Second Amendment? If a person is against all private ownership, that’s okay. A person is entitled to his opinion. Why not come out and call for all firearms to be confiscated instead of using “sensible” gun laws? The answer likely lies in the fact that to let the cat out of the bag would make it difficult to achieve their goals. So the agenda is hidden.

Had it been a fight, we would have separated them and let the school have it This was a bigger kid trying to beat down another student with a teacher standing in between them trying to protect the victim who wanted no part of the confrontation. The bully reached over the teacher and clobbered the other student in the face.
