Just a tidbit of history for you guys, Nederland was doing the lights out at halftime show years before Vidor ever did it.  The band marched with flashlights tied to their leg.  They stopped perfoming that show when they changed out the lighting system.  Man that was way back when I was a kid watching the football games. I always wondered how they didn't burn their fingers when the twirlers used fire batons, ha ha, anyways, I remember also back in the early 80's when Mr. Todd (a Nederland graduate) became head Director in Vidor, he brought a lot of the Nederland look that way in how they marched.  Is David Johnson (also a Nederland Graduate) still Directing there?  Anyways, just add fireworks and you got a nice show.
Before the flashlights it was strings of lights like mini Christmas lights that were clipped to the uniforms. They have problems with them getting old and went to the flashlights on the legs for a short time. The last year they did so (like you mentioned), they changed the light system and it took several minutes before the lights warmed up and it delayed the game. The discontinued the lights out show after that.
 4. Look, 54" Redfish.
 5. That is probably too big for my Hyundai Sonata to tow.
..and Ryan Butler that was a great receiver (hands, speed, moves), punter, kicker, returner.........
i remember that kid.
I think that Butler was the PA News Super Team MVP in 2005 or 06.

 9.
Thank you... I had been busy at work and hadn't even thought about the previews
The previews are a joke anyway. No wait, that is the polls..............  8)
you and that flyrod....lol
I won a bass tournament with it (but not the one we were in). Of course the flyrod didn't hurt that day either.  ;D

 12.
I assume as with most fields, that the Vidor home side holds more fans than the visitor side so there is your answer.
Is that what twocents is asking? If so that is a no brainer. The Vidor home side holds about 5K and their visitor side holds about 1,500.
 13. I am not even sure what the question is. Is the PNG hc bigger tha the Vidor hc or is the Vidor hc bigger than the average week at PNG or is Vidor playing PNG for hc? It us hard to claim a legitimate question when it is not easy to figure out the question.
 14.
im not liking this track. hope we have a cool front to block it then cool us off a little.
To heck with a hurricane, if you can get a cool front in here the first week of August........

 18. About 8 years ago I didn't have tickets to MCM for the only time in maybe 35 years. I got in line at 3:00AM for the handful of general admission tickets left. They limited it to I think 4 (or was it 2?) GA tickets per person. If you were not in line by about 5:00AM, you didn't get tickets that went on sale at 8:00AM.
 19.
whats the earliest i can get a ticket to Mid-County Madness? PAM has an open date on Oct. 19th so im free.
Better get someone to give you a ticket.

WOS is good, but they're not the old WOS. We'll see how LCM rises to the occasion. Hopefully those young kids coming up for LCM understand the bitterness of the rivalry, I feel like they're too young to know.
If the high school football players (or junior high for that matter) don't understand the bitterness of the rivalry, it makes me wonder if it is a rivalry.
You'd think being on the wrong end of a 23-3 series record where the average score has been roughly 29-8, you'd think they'd understand the bitterness.
At work we call that a clue. I was thinking if you would have to explain to an Indian or Bulldog the meaning of the rivalry by the time they get into middle school..... or the second grade.
