So on the right/starboard side it will be before the numbers and on the left/port side it will be after the numbers.

The LA is usually pretty good if you have a LA license or don't mind trying to dodge the LA game wardens.

I haven't caught mackerel at the jetties in years. It was fun when it happened. They have been slamming the specks lately everywhere along the TX coast.
Ok guys what happened? At first everyone was wanting to do it. Now no one has said they are for sure doing it. Lets get this thing done! I want to fish haha ;D
I have only said that I was open in May. At least one other person has said the same thing. Most people don't have boats. I don't see where anyone has agreed to anything except a couple of people have boats and a couple may not be able to make June.
Not sure if I can do June. That is why I said that I was available in May since I have vacation. I don't have much problems getting off of work most times but I think that I have an off duty job the morning that we have picked. I will have to check further.
I hear there have been some nice flounder and trout coming off some of the shorelines running between Bessie Heights all the way to the "mothball fleet"... I just bought a new truck so I have to get a receiver hitch hooked up before I can get my boat back in the water next week...but I will be fishing near the mothball fleet
Along that bank is okay for flounder but I like the points from the canal leading into BH. That is both the river side and where it hits the marsh.
What exactly would you refer to this guy, then? Better yet, what if this were YOUR daughter in this situation with this LOSER PEDOPHILE? Fact is, you are not the only person on here that knows the law....I have never mentioned anyone's name on this public forum....defamation....come on man....the guy in question has much bigger fish to fry at this point...PAISD is not a part of the SE Texas "good ole boy" system, so this time he will be properly dealt with. I THINK EDUCATORS THAT INVOLVE THEMSELVES WITH KIDS ARE SICK PEOPLE.....Sue me for THAT...
Your first post responded to an article posted by WOSgrad. Your response (the first in the thread so there is no ambiguity of who you were talking about)_was...
Ridiculous....It is my understanding that he had this same issue at LCM...Can anyone confirm this?
It should be clear from anyone that an article that only mentions Kip McFarlin and the first response is "he", who you were talking about. Remember that in a civil lawsuit it does not take proof beyond a reasonable doubt but merely a preponderance of the evidence. That roughly means it is more likely to exist than not or at least 51%. If he has bigger fish to fry, great for you. A comment that people that have sex with kids in not defamation. It is an opinion. When you accuse someone of it, it can be defamation. WOSgrad is a lawyer, maybe he will respond on defamation and what can be accused in public without proof. I can say that criminals need to go to jail but if I make a specific accusation of you committing a crime and can't back it up, that is defamation. And from the news article, the person that McFarlin is accused of improper conduct with is not a "child" or an you say, a "kid".

What does that have to do with the price of eggs in China?
EVERYTHING....Don't you see that? Contract Violation = Certificate revocation........Pedophile having relationships with kids = leave the school district and go to Port Arthur...Doesn't make much sense really... :o
You have accused him of being a pedophile. A pedophile is a person that has a main sexual interest in a child that has not yet reached full puberty or generally a child 13 years old or less. Since you apparently have information about such activity and have made the statement at least twice on a public forum, I suggest that you go to the appropriate law enforcement agency since you can be sued for defamation and it is against the law to have such information and not report it.
She is 17 NOW...11th grader....TURNED 17 in 2012....you're a biased man, tvc184, but you're not stupid.
The article does not say "NOW". I am only going by what I read in the media. How is that being biased? If she was 16 or younger, why not Sexual Assault of a Child instead of Improper Conduct?
Man, please....that KID was 16....please stop trying to defend this clown.
The news said that the student was 17 or in other words, an adult. This from the Beaumont Enterprise...... Maj. Raymond Clark with Port Arthur Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit said Thursday that police are investigating what has been reported as an improper relationship involving McFarlin and a 17-year-old female student. Read more: [Hidden Content] Do you have any other evidence to show the student was 16 or younger or do you just make this stuff up? And I have defended no one. I merely stated the law and the law has not been in place for very long.
No...I said A CERTAIN DEMOGRAPHIC of people that apply for teaching jobs (non administrative) in Port Arthur ISD, would be somewhere else if they COULD...THAT'S what I said. That pedophile was allowed by TWO OTHER LOCAL DISTRICTS to keep his certification, despite being accused of doing the dame thing that he was caught doing in PAISD to kids....that is wrong on so many levels.
Actually DV, he is not accused of being a pedophile and in fact the student that made the claim in this case is an adult. McFarlin is not accused of sexual assault on a child. In fact when he started teaching, it was not even a crime to do what he did. Unethical but not illegal. The state later decided that a 19 year old student could not have sex with a 21 year old janitor that works at the same high school on morality grounds. I am sure that there are many thoughts on that being both favorable and unfavorable but that is the law. That does not make a person a pedophile however.
-
Did DV just say that 9 out of 10 times PAISD will hire the undesirable or believed to be criminal teachers that have been run out of other districts?

His claim is that anything past that center line (state line) in the photographs is illegal without a LA license. [IMG][Hidden Content]]

I talked to a coworker that guides this area. He said that the "common boundary" for Louisiana and Texas is for the lake only and not the channel south of the lake. He has licenses (since he guides) for both but if you get caught across the shown state line where you are past the points of land or not, you will be cited. I haven't checked it out but he does it professionally.
