3.
What were y'alls votes based on?  Last years records, this years scrimmages or what? Kind of curious as to the thought process behind these votes.
Ten moderators and administrators voted (and I was not one of them). Each gives his opinion and can use any criteria that he wants.....scrimmage, record, history or just a wild guess. If you think they are wrong, toss your opinions in the ring. All thoughts welcome.
 4.
Just curious, can u fish the fish pass at Keith lake in a canoe with trolling motor?
Yes but that area really gets to ripping on some of the tides. Near the bank the current should not be so bad if it really kicks up.
 5. Who carries them? The main think I look for in the swimming/jerk baits is being able to run true at more than very slow. You can crank down on a Yozuri and really run it and it will still run.
 6.

The last two trips I caught a good number of them on Yozuri Crystal Minnows but those certainly weren't our only baits. They seem to like that swimming minnow effect.
You ever use the Swimming Image?   I like it a lot.
No. Is it cheaper than the Yozuri that is about $8 a pop?

 9.
went out for a couple of hours tonight, but got run off by the lightening.  kept 3 reds (26, 24, 21) and 5 specks (21 1/2, 20 1/2, 18, 15, 15).  we were in the fish, and probably would've limited out on both species if we hadn't had to leave.
Get those reds on artificial or live/dead bait?
 10.
Game was to be played at Moorhead in Conroe now at Sam H,  heres the tale of the tape                        Moorhead          Bowers West Orange        117 mi               143 mi Giddings               100 mi               104 mi For me I really do not see much of a differnce. round it off 25 more miles for WOS really the same for Giddings.
Yeah, it is not like they are doubling the drive.
 11. It is kind of strange that you can't hunt over bait for dove but you can hunt over water which in effect, is the same thing, especially during a drought.
 12. It's not my lease in east Texas but these are some of the turkeys I saw in south Texas last deer season. The bottom two pictures were taken from my bow blind on a fence line. [IMG][Hidden Content]] [IMG][Hidden Content]] [IMG][Hidden Content]] [IMG][Hidden Content]]
 13. What people call politics (favoritism) is in every facets of life. That is because football players, coaches, parents, police officers, doctors, lawyers, ditch diggers and everyone else comes from the human race. When we all become Spock from Star Trek and show no emotion and always act in a logical manner, we will not have favoritism or what people call politics. Until then...............
 14.

The cops didn't take fingerprints but I saw prints on glass I didn't see before I left and door handles.
Wow, I'm shocked.  Why no fingerprints, I wonder?
Fingerprints are not so easy to get in many cases. Sometimes a person just doesn't leave prints. Even if they do, it has to be a smooth, dry and clean surface. Dust, moisture, texture or dirt tends to obscure fingerprints. You can see that the item was touched but you can't lift them or get anything of usable value. Then you have to find the item(s) to be fingerprinted. It is not like the police or an ID technician is going to go into every house and fingerprint thousands of items. It has to be limited to what they can tell has been handled by the suspect(s) and then has to fit the criteria I listed. Easy on the television, not so easy in real life.
 15.
No injuries.
That is what I am hoping for.
 16.
Well we just got a brand new high school so it'll prolly be a little while untill we get new stadiums
They don't need a new stadium. Just put in a couple of more bleachers. We will play in a cow pasture if we can just get a ticket to it.  ;D
 17. It's just a practice. ;D
 18.
The cops didn't take fingerprints but I saw prints on glass I didn't see before I left and door handles.
Is it still there?
 19.
Home gets broken into while I'm visiting family. They ransacked the place and only took a 19 inch flat screen. No money, no video game system, no CDs or DVDs, no clothes or shoes.
Did they handle anything that can be fingerprinted?
 20.
Cowards waited til I left in broad daylight to do it. I will be getting a gun license. Ppl still haven't grown up in port arthur. And I actually got a good idea who may have done it.
Home burglaries are in broad daylight. That is when people are at work or at school. Most people don't want to break into a home at night when almost everyone is home and they might face an angry homeowner with a gun.
 21.
Right. Everyone knows that. We can also sell out stadiums like Stallworth, but that's old news.
But not two weeks before school starts.

 23.

The best thing that could have be done is to give the position to Coach Smith so the school board wouldn't have to worry about this problem for a good while! Coach English is a great coach, but this "molding" business being brought up is ridiculous.. The whole point is, the Nederland basketball faithful and upcoming parents of future players want to see coaches with their kids that enjoy basketball, not some football coach being told he has to because of budget issues.. Anyone close to the program can see that English is putting too much extra work into the under levels, that could be used for his varsity team.. The two sport coaching Mosley said about Robbins is a different story.. He is a coach who enjoys both sports and has a passion for it.. The basketball people in Nederland are tired of getting coaches for basketball that could care less about it, which is what happens EVERY TIME.. Last thing I'm going to say...Back-to-back district champs.. Start treating them like it
Beautiful!!!!
When they start drawing 6,000 people for home games and go to the playoffs 14 out of 15 years, let's talk. ;D It is quite obvious that some people posting in this forum either hate or have a disinterest in football. That is all great but it has gone over into some extreme jealousy to the point of name calling and questioning a person's intent and whining. It's all fair game in a sports forum but my goodness this is an active bunch. I hope that Nederland goes on a streak that all UIL sanctioned sports and academic teams each win district for the next 10 years. I will and do support them all. ..... but the football team will still have the biggest budget and the most support.
 24. That is because the Livingston stadium is the size of little league field. As the article states..... Because Livingston’s stadium is so small, PN-G has already sold out its allotment of 1,000 adult tickets.
 25.

But basketball is supposed to be #1 in Nederland and Neumann is sabotaging us!! I watched my first Nederland Bulldog basketball game about 40 years ago and I find this thread is better than renting a comedy at Redbox.  :D
So what's your stance on this. I read pages of posts filled with nonsense so I decided to say something. I bring up multiple points that go against what they are spewing and all the of the sudden I am being defensive and taking things personal. Am I missing something or did I just ruin the bash party?
I think you are dead on target. I find it funny that someone claims that Larry Neumann would try to bring down a recently successful Nederland sport out of jealousy, failure to win a football championship or any of the other dribble on here. I suppose next they will claim that he is going to hire a janitor to coach the girl's softball team. I need to read the basketball forums more often. This is entertainment!
