1.
It means lumberton is 1-10 against PNG. The only win Lumberton has ever had against us is the one they brag so much about.
Then I can understand the point.  :)

 3. I take it this means that the L-Train has now lost a game on the new carpet?
 4. I have three more weeks before I can make a trip to south Texas.
 5.
Central has been in 4A since 2002 and has missed the playoffs twice, both as a result of the coaching carousel!  So I can see that as an issue. Still no one in this district has had a better playoff performance this decade.
Not sure what you call a better playoff performance for the decade but I think that starting in 2000, Nederland has been to the quarterfinals 3 times and the semi-finals once. Has Central been to at least the quarterfinals more than 4 times in the last 10 years?

 7. Central seems to change coaches every couple of years or so. No one expects a new coach to come in and do very well. PNG got a new coach last year and many people questioned if they could get very good the first year. Then they ended up undefeated but they still had their early doubters. People's opinions don't mean much and Central has managed to overcome a few coaching changes. That is not the continuity like Nederland that has been the playoffs like 14 of the last 15 years and has an 18 year head coach. Central has managed to do well without continuity at head coach but I understand people's opinion. Good for Central. They keep winning in spite of the revolving coach's door.
and it sucked.  I don't get skunked often, but I sure did today.  We caught several sm. reds, 1 flounder and 1 trout...all undersized.  Pretty disappointing.
I went Thursday night and caught speck after speck.... all but one under 15". We landed about 40 in an hour or so. I guess they will have some good stock for the future.

 16. Nederland has been 3 times with 1 championship.
 17. The fat lady is about to sing. I can hear her warming up her throat backstage now.
 18.
Yeah i was pre set on the Mathews! But, am waiting to test shoot them untill i have the money to buy it that day! lol
If you are preset on Mathews, why ask what is best? Back to reality, there is no such thing as "best". It is extremely subjective based on feel and opinion of the person. Do you want a speed bow? Do you want a smooth bow with a high brace height that is forgiving? Are you looking for a bow that is quiet? There are several major brands out there that absolutely make awesome bows and most are the equal of each other, according to what aspect you are looking for. A better question might be, what are some good bows in your price range? There are some in the $500-$600 range that are about 90-95% as good (smooth, dead in hands, fast, etc.) as $1,000 bows. Are you limited on funds are or you able to buy the latest and greatest out there? On the upper end bows, the Mathews Z7 seems to be their hot number right now. The Bowtech Destroyer is getting lots of great reviews and the PSE X-Force has been hot for a couple of years. Hoyt Maxxis has quite a few followers right now. I've tried the Mathews Monster but I thought it had a pretty agressive draw cycle. It seemed like a pain to shoot. For a couple of feet more a second, it seems to be a hard bow to draw. I would rather opt for one like the Z7 for being a bit smoother and give up about 8 feet per second. I would really like to try out the Destroyer but maybe not. I hear that it is both extremely fast and extremely smooth. I might start thinking of trading in my current bow which is a very good one also so maybe I had better stay away from the Destroyer. My Diamond Marquis is the equal of any of them..... but I am afraid to try another one just in case..................

I am not saying that some other brands are not but I know that Spider Wire is not unless they have made changes to it.
I have 50lb Power Pro on a Revo Inshore and it works flawlessly. All my buddies use it too.
Yeah, I have never had a problem with it other than those that just come with any braided line like having to use different knots and the stuff is hard to cut with a knife. It is different though and I understand those that don't like it. I don't know that I like it so much but it is not from the stuff not working. Mono is certainly easier to use. Ever try to cut braided with your teeth?  :D

If you don't like a track of a particular model, wait a couple of hours. It will change.
 21. I have still been fishing at night from a private dock under the lights. The specks have shown back up after being pretty much nonexistent for a few weeks. Lots of them out there but very few keepers right now. About one out of 8 is a keeper although a couple of guys that I fish with have really caught a couple in the 22"-24" range. Now if the rest of them would just show up.............
 22. I had one get me on the eyebrow and it looked like I lost a fight. My eye was swollen shut for a couple of days.
340 or 350?
I bought the 340.  A little more forgiving and it will accommodate a 30 1/2 inch draw length.  The 350 tops out at 30".
I have toyed with the idea of the 350. My draw length is 28" and the inch less of brace height won't have much of an effect on my shots. I just hate to shell out the money. My Diamond Marquis is still a great bow and is only two years old. I like the smooth draw of the single cam but the Bowtech sure looks like a good one.
