I did not make it although I tried. I was supposed to have had a slot for me open and a guy said that he had made the required deposit. I could have easily paid but the guy that was part of the group kept saying that it was paid. It turned out that he had lied and never sent in the money to reserve the slot. The ranch then gave the slot to another person. Like I said, I could have easily paid for it but kept being told that the all of the group's deposits had been paid when my slot was not.

In '98, '99, '00 and '01 Nederland made it to three straight years in the quarters and the last year in the semi's and no all-state players. How is that? Four straight years in a row in at least the quarters and no all-staters? The problem is that you can't judge all state players by how far the team goes. I am not saying that Dayton didn't have any deserving players and I am sure that many teams could say the same. To question how a team can make it that far doesn't mean anything however. Therein lies the concept of "team".

Ancelet's makes a jalepeño and a jalepeño/cheese deer sausage that is great. There are no chuncks of jalepeño in it but you get the flavor without being overpowering. They either puree it or chop it very small and add just the right amount (IMO).

Yep. I doubt that very many people from Dayton are buying the Beaumont Enterprise. They are in the same district with Golden Triangle teams but they not from the GT. There are Houston area teams in the district with West Brook and Memorial but they don't get big write ups either.

Many taxing entities have exemptions for over age 65 and most people on fixed income are in that category. What are the tax exemptions at NISD, if any?

I've shot the Savage with the AccuTrigger but not on a .22. The AccuTrigger is way better than their standard trigger if that is what you are talking about.
