If you looked at the voting, there were a couple of players that were in the lead in several categories. Mosley was the leader by a wide margin in three or four categories. You can only one award and are given the highest award you were voted on. That leaves awards left open to more people.

no actually this is a thread about two ball carriers..one who plays for the university of Texas and the other who played for a 5-5 6-6 high school team.you are the one who brought everything else up..it just goes to show you that if you dont agree with everyone from nederland then they will dog you and your town out on here ..happens all the time.

He will of course stop short of saying what the rest of the year held for the two teams but who can blame him? You have to have something to hang your hat on. A single victory over a playoff team seems to be all that he can muster.

That is true in some areas. But as the coyotes knock down the deer population, theirs is likely to explode even more. It might eventually reach a point of overkill. I wish they could move some of those overpopulated deer to other areas of the state where they are struggling to gain population.

Did you ever book a hunt?

Once I get there, I will be limited in where I can hunt. I will have maybe 300 acres but it will be luck of the draw if it has water on that area. I am hoping to get a shot at a good deer by the second (or third) day so I can spend some time trying to bag a turkey.

Between pigs and coyotes, they are going to run deer out of Texas.

Another good thing about those straws, if you have a malfunction in one, you don't have to worry about clearing the jam. Just throw it away, grab a new one and get right back to shooting. I can't toss mine away.
