Ya I've seen CH several times this year, if you can contain Mathew Tucker you win. CH does nothing but run the ball, CH is nothing compared to Gilmer. I was at the Gilmer CH game and CH looked like Jasper did against Gilmer.

I know coach Brooks is a great coach, so I don't believe that is the problem. To be completely honest the QB Bailey has not played to near the level he did last year also the defense lacks size.

The SLC switched to Wednesdays for conference games, reportedly at the suggestion of your athletic director who thought it would be in the best interest of the conference in a basketball-sense... Looking at last year's schedule, Lamar only had 3 home conference games on Thursday night, so you're looking at only 3 or 4 Wednesday night games a year. Maybe you can answer this TexasTerror, why did Sam Houston have 4 Wednesday night home conference games last year? I guess they weren't that concerned about playing on Wednesday nights so I bet their AD went right along with Tubbs. I think having a CBL team in Beaumont will help Lamar. It'll get people more involved with basketball. If they do well I could see Beaumont and Lamar hosting the SLC tourney in the future at Ford Park. To be honest I think the Montagne Center is a better basketball facility then Ford Arena.

1 out runners on 1st & 2nd, fly ball caught by the CF runner at 2nd fails to tag up takes off for third runner at first makes attempt to make 2nd. The SS inadvertently touches 2nd in attempt to get the runner coming from 1st. If i'm correct the at 2nd is out for failing to tag up even though it was by total accident the SS touched the bag...??

Never a balk without runners. Another rule allows a ball call. Are you positive? Then what would the ruling be?

Tonight I was calling a little league game, the pitcher started to pitch the ball but never finished through. He was pitching from the stretch and I called a balk and awarded the batter a ball. The coach protested the call saying you cannot call a balk with no runners on...Am I wrong here, the coach protested the game and we are awaiting a ruling from the league.
