I feel the BU team came out here and played well. They were short handed to start with out the leader of the group T-Arce.. They played this team tight until they found some matchups that they liked. Looks as if Soph Payia got hurt during the game. He might have been the best rebounder during the tourney for BU but he had to play big because of T’s absence. I think Dotson and Yates played well but they just needed one more kid to have a good game and they could have pulled it off. Porchia looked to be hurt also after that foul. Because until then BU was getting after they a””. Now fully loaded BU wins by 8-10pts.. Also think this tourney help a lot of kids gets some minutes and exposure. BU is in a better situation going forward depth wise

Bu kids will have played PNG, Nederland, 3 games in Arkansas, 4 games in New Orleans in a week.. And playing the last few without Terrance.. Everybody role changes and explains because of that.. Foul trouble for Porchia last game.. So they just learning how to play hard and grit out wins. Gonna help them going forward

BU starter basically played 2 quarters of basketball. They were up over 30 when they got pulled with 5:12min left in the 3rd.. So much length and speed..

Hawks had some defensive liability on the floor. Silsbee could just go by them or out muscles them on the boards.. Can’t shoot it good like that and rebound your misses..Tough! Davis didn’t have a good performance after the 1st quarter! Thought the pace was too fast for HJ but I haven’t seen them this year so..go figure. Silsbee might be the 2nd best team in the Area after BU of course. Do HF and Silsbee play this year? The atmosphere was exciting though for a half.. After that it was all Smoke and no brakes for Silsbee

I agree.. Coaches won’t normally let his best players sit that long unless he is tripping or the others are handling up. Maybe the coach and his assistants dropped the ball. One thing for sure based on these comments the coach has to do a better job of handling the stands because y’all attitudes will filter over to the kids. Just my opinion. No fun when that happens.

I think this post has gone to far. These are kids/ not professional! Looking at analytics… Give me a shot chart.. so I can figure out if #2,4, 23, 5 took good shots/bad. I think I read 5 should have took at least 10 shots. So analysts please tell me where those shots should have came from. Who shot to many? Who took a bad shot? Who looked 5 off just to get a shot up? Who didn’t feed the post? As a coach I need you to be more specific because I wasn’t at the game but I know y’all will continue to discuss this until the next game. So share some film on here for us that just wants to validate your point or the opposition’s. Like HooHead said earlier college’s recruit parents and the kids. Wasn’t BU best game tonight. Kids looked bored and during the game they were just standing and watching.
