K-Ville talks a WHOLE lot of smack too, but they reserve the right I guess being 7-0 and defeating decent teams. ;D I'm still not liking it much however hah. 8) 8) LOL..I guess when your undefeated you do have some sort of "BRAGGING" rights..RIGHT? And to answer the poll question..I answered Buna..but I am sure Kville is running a close second..

Buna is a decent team, but I think alot of people, including players talk to much trash. They start thinking they are better than everyone. I guess you do start feeling that way considering you really havent played anyone that has really been very competitive. I would have more respect for Buna if they would play teams that are better than they are and win! Thats how you earn respect! Until then, its all talk. Just my opinion.

If anyone has seen Kirbyville play then there is no way that you say the Wildcats could lose to Newton. Kirbyville is tough this year, stronger than ever. If I know our boys, they will come out ready to play and have EAGLES FOR SUPPER!!!!! Kirbyville 42 Newton 14

First of all Newton Eagle...there are predictions for EVERY TEAM that plays just about on this site. Its not just Kirbyville that posts predictions. Maybe you are just getting alittle nervous that your precious little EAGLES may not come out victorious this time come Week 10. Its been along time coming for Kirbyville to put a hurtin on Newton and this year may just be the year. I surely hope so. And yes, it is very nice to see our boys winning. But you know we have been winning for the last several years...not just this year. We have made the playoffs for several years now and and have gone pretty deep. People are noticing NOW!!!! I agree with you on your statement about the Longs. Dustin was an AWESOME QB. So if there is this much trouble with the staff why is the school not cleaning house? I dont get it. What are they waiting for? I dont live in Port Neches anymore, so I'm the outsider looking in, but I love that team and I hate to see this happen to such a great football town. Oh yea you know it..I was thinking the same thing myself when I saw San Augustine had already played Arp and LOST!!! I really thought they would have lost by more though coming from a #1 state ranked team..LOL

And to add..the whole reason I even responded to this thread was this exact reason....You want to throw out statistics and numbers..and my whole thing with this is...YOU HAVENT PLAYED ANYBODY. This is like an oxymoron..LOL This is having like false numbers, because the caliber of teams that you play are not GOOD TEAMS!!!! So how can you COMPARE that to anyone. That was the point I was trying to make to you. Yea you can spit out numbers all day long, but until you actually play a decent team..those numbers really don't mean jack. I'm not trying to offend you or anyone that you have played, but in the last 3 games we have scored over 40.5ppg. In district games we have 55 ppg versus 7. Now if you want to take the average for the entire season...46.43 ppg versus 13.8. However, we actually played "4 3A" teams during Preseason and still remained Undefeated coming into district play. Not being rude..but I believe you added our numbers wrong (as far as our ppg is concerned) ;D ;D ;D..LOL

How are you figuring 13.8? Are you going by the entire season thus far? The entire 7 games? or the 3 district games we have played?

EXACTLY!!! Thats what I've been talking about Please. Buna wouldnt last 2 minutes against WOS.,,thats whats so funny about all of it...LOLOLOLOL!!! How about Buna play WOS next year in their PreSeason like we do. Heck we had to play them in district for cryin out loud. lol If you would have read what I wrote I never said Buna could beat WOS I was comparing them on a statistical level. Three years ago Buna was in that district. Buna has beat Kountze 4wins Deweyville 4wins Warren 2wins and sure the other three only have 1 win combined but you cant control how many games other teams win. K-ville did't play WOS either this year so you cant talk on that one but would have been nice for that game to have happen. K-ville has great stats also but to bad would not get to see Buna and K-ville play in the playoffs cause that would be a game to see. Well you know if we would have had a district like ya'll do, we would probably dominate too. So far so good for us. Who knows maybe we will ..lol and as for as your 3 years ago being in that district...never heard a about ya'll..LOL Did ya'll ever come close to ever beating WOS, JASPER, BRIDGE CITY, SILSBEE???? We have! We have beaten Jasper 3 years in a row now, BC 2 years, silsbee 1 for sure.No we havent beaten WOS, but gave them a very good game. And if we had played them this year, it would have been an even better one. Our boys are stronger, and better than ever. Our stats arent great..they are Awesome...165 points in 3 games and only allwowing 21 points from opponents. Amazing!!!!

Wonder what Nederland's staff is doing with their not so good talent that PN-G is NOT? You can only do so much as a coach. I am hearing alot that PN-G is using the buddy system on the field. Is there alot of the BUDDY systems going on over there or are they truly playing the best kids in the best positions? A great coach, which I think Matt Burnett is, would not care if a kid is his best friends kid,or his brothers kid,etc... if hes no good for the position he plays, then MOVE HIM to where he can be best utilized!!!
