Someone from leadership needs to step up and say we screwed up, we’re gonna fix it, and this will never happen again. That requires somebody being fired then so be it. If Trump were to fire one of his appointees, then he’ll be admitting he made a bad choice. That won’t happen. To deflect, deny, downplay, and play the whataboutism hurts the credibility of their transparency claim. Own it and fix it.

From what I could tell, state funding for education is around 23 billion per year, which I assume includes the 2.1 lottery funds. FYI the state gives 17.5 billion to higher education. I’ve never really understood why, much less the equity of that.
