  1. No. LCM and WOS. I’ll route for Orangefield and other locals.
  2. Peevey has told everyone he will be at LCM at least until his kids graduate, for what that’s worth.
  3. How do you know what they’re paying him?
  4. In fairness, the same news network has reported on PA and Beaumont low scores too. They reported on the higher scoring districts as well. I’m alway rooting for WOS but the low score trends year after year needs to improve.
  5. That depends on who's criteria you are using to quantify. Yours I suppose. Your lying to yourself to think males are superior in every area. Using your criteria, there should be no women in the supreme court.
  6. Low report card performance on the district and yet 38 pages on this thread and public speakers at the last board meeting complaining about the HC pick. Hum. 🙄
  7. I have no problem with him be committed to nominating a black woman. In fact, I appreciate him saying it up front rather than going through the smoke screen motions and claiming his nominee is the best possible candidate BS. I believe diversity should be considered when making up the supreme court. After a year in office, I finally agree with one thing he's done.
  8. The job posting requires a masters degree. That may cull out a lot of fan favorites.
  9. PNG is one of, if not the most, premier jobs in the area. They should get some quality applicants. Hiring the right one may be another story.
  10. I read an interview with Toby when he left Central. He said his new gig was paying him six figures. What makes Toby supporters think WOS could or should afford to bring him in? Should he make more than CT?
  11. Most don't know the interviewing and hiring process. They only know what they speculate or what someone told them.
  12. By your “woke” statement, are you saying he wasn’t the most qualified? If not, how do you know that? If he was, it wasn’t a “woke” hire.
  13. Many times the board has already given an unofficial off the record approval.
  14. Stephen Jones said McCarthy will definitely be the coach next year. SMH
  15. I personally don’t/can’t trust any of the narratives being spewed these days. If you have to listen to some, it should be the ones that the government are trying to silence or discredit.
  16. I would guess CT won't be around campus when the new guy arrives. There doesn't need to be any confusion about who's in charge. For certain, it doesn't matter who they hire, WOS will be fine, students will not leave, tickets will continue to sell and most everyone will be OK. That is, until (if) they lose a district game, lose to LCM, lose in the first round. Then it will all start to unravel.
  17. While your at it, can you name the three blackest towns in the area? Just kidding. I’m just poking the beat.
  18. The newlyweds were talking. The wife said “now that were married, do you think you could start selling off some of your gun collection” He said “your starting to should a lot like my ex-wife” “I never knew you were married before” He said “I wasn’t”
  19. I just don’t know how I feel about a local paper that appears to be lobbying for a particular coach.
  20. Toby may or may not be the best choice. I think it could be premature and maybe even insulting to totally dismiss any of the qualified coaches that are correctly a part of the program.
  21. ...unless you qualify as economically disadvantaged, if I recall. Then there's no cost.
  22. Some new coaches want to clean house and bring their own staff in. A proven coach may want more money than they are able to pay, maybe more than coach T made. Highly proven coaches don’t move for cheap.
