There’s a lot more that could cause a COVID cancelation than some know. In addition to losing players, they could be short coaches, trainers, bus drivers, etc.

I don’t have devastating struggles like this and I thank the Lord I haven’t experienced a loss like this so I tend to not give opinions on something so sensitive that I know nothing about. However, it could be that just having an outlet to open up could be more helpful than the actual smash. It could also be beneficial to the mom that actually experienced the loss who created the room. There's a lot room for human error here. This could explain the positive cases among the vaccinated. On top of that, we're sending hundreds of millions of vaccines overseas to less fortunate countries. What are the odds of them maintaining proper criteria?
