  1.  I think most of us agree on the basics. We just can't agree on how to get there or where to draw the lines.
  2. Once again, more qualified than Obama was
  3. Good Friday is almost over and Easter is coming up. It’s a three day weekend for some and a great time to dye and hide eggs, cook, eat candy and spend time with family. Food, bunnies and family are great but don’t forget to honor the real meaning of Easter. Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and me to pay the price for our sins. He rose three days later to conquer death and secure eternal life for all who accept him as their Lord and Savior. Happy Easter!   “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-17 ESV
  4. The fact that she is a former first lady, senator and secretary of state makes her tremendously more qualified than Obama was when he ran for president.
  5. I absolutely understand but you can't just totaly blame the pawns
  6. I have to somewhat agree with  PAM . If someone says come get in line because we are giving away free stuff and offering living assistance, then the line forms, then you blame those folks for getting in line? That’s like blaming shoppers for the long lines on Black Friday. I also agree that many in the line are truly in need and many are freeloads. Our government just needs a better way of offering assistance and making recipients accountable.
  7. I'm happy assuming I'm etc. Don't bother telling me any different.
  8. There’s been an awful lot of local and political talk lately. Let’s try a little hump day music for a change of pace. Feel free to add if you have anything to share.   Enjoy     [Hidden Content]   I don't know why I can only paste the link and not the actual video. Any suggestions?
  9. You should care about what you defend.
  10.  I saw a news report that stated El Paso's failed appeal cost them $80,000 in legal fees.
  11.     Your district and employer had millions stolen and TEA has taken over and you could care less? The ONLY thing you’re interested in is what we think? Interesting.
  12. Or could it be the much bigger problem is Christians that defend sinful lifestyles and see no problem with recognizing, supporting and even honoring such a lifestyle. Just sayin’
  13. I feel for Klun because he is clearly confused and not happy with the way God made him. There really must be some serious inner battles going on. He is desperate enough to be looking for a manmade gender change for happiness. That is sad. :(   On another note; if someone is tenacious enough to go through the process it takes to actually change your gender changing jobs should be a piece of cake. :)
  14.     Considering you have been employed for only one month you probably have no idea what’s really needed to teach students. You also have not experienced any pay, benefit or budget cuts like some of the veterans. I assume you are quite educated but a word of advice; if you want to be successful in the school system you may want to observe and learn from your veteran colleagues rather than school them on what it takes to teach students.   Personal education doesn’t necessarily trump experience.
  15. Still doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut
  16. She may have figured out she's afraid of heights.
  17. He may be at home deleting files and shredding papers.
  18. I can certainly agree that times are changing but we probably won’t agree whether it’s for the best or worse.   I would still like to know what pretence he was hired under.
  19. I have already stated my view but here’s the real question. Why and how was (s)he hired? Was his gender and situation revealed prior to hiring? Did he mislead them during the hiring process? Did they know his situation and hire him anyway?   If they hired him know he was a man who dressed and acted like woman then they should support their hire. If they were misled and the sub misrepresented himself they should quit using him as a sub.
  20.  I would assume parents and BISD tax payers
  21. I don’t have problem with fictional books or movies as long they’re taken as inspirational fiction and not portrayed as non-fiction. In today’s movie market I actually welcome some of these fictional movies such as God’s Not Dead. I’m not sure about Heaven is For Real.
  22. Personally speaking; if I was being taught or instructed by a man dressed as a woman I would have a hard time staying focused or giving the instructor the credibility deserved. JMO, right or wrong.
