Yes they should. Silly question.

Nothing yet. It may take a while before the media and civil rights groups bring their small minority agenda to the forefront in the name of equality and political fairness. Nothing yet. Chargois may not resign because of money. Depending on how his contract reads, if he gets fired or removed he may still get paid for his contract which could be as much as half a million dollars. If he resigns he may get nothing. As far as their power? You may want to share that with Ritter and Deshotel

Let's pick on another school district for a while

It’s quite the stretch to compare the destraction of a young ladies natural maturity progression to a cross-dressing male working toward eliminating his manhood to become a woman. -

That's funny stuff. Clearly someone reporting on something with zero knowledge. -

Is this acceptable for students in the district? If not, it shouldn’t be acceptable for staff. Furthermore, in the education world where a school freaks out when someone simply walks down the hall while testing is going on (some of you know what I'm talking about) because of the potential distraction, you have to consider the potential distraction of the teacher. BTW - just because he calls himself a she doesn’t make him a she. -
Then so will the TEA staff that recommended take over.

I really don't have a problem with the medals either. The additional travel just doesn't seem very responsible considering their status.

That’s a hard sell for a district in financial trouble. (not to mention the other troubles) Especially since the sup declares a cut back on travel. JMO

Hopefully he accepted truth before hand.

I look forward to the day this technology advancement can apply to a bay boat.

I read the “as many as 100 indictment†number too but I thought that could possible mean somethink like ten people with ten indictments each. Also “as many as†could be less than.

He didn't learn well enough. Thomas was very good at what he did. ;)

The commissioner gets to make the call. What decision will he make? Will the BISD board and superintendent convince him in a one day interview to let them fix the problem? Or, will he take the recommendation of his staff that have spent months investigating the district? He is representing the TEA you know. If I were a betting man…

Who knows what could be brought forth at this point. The Jefferson County District Attorney has been investigating allegations of wrongdoing by the district. District Attorney Cory Crenshaw issued the following statement in reaction to the news from the TEA "We would like to take this opportunity to let the community know that now is the time for those who have knowledge of wrong-doing at the school district and wrongdoers themselves, to come forward. We are asking that all individuals with knowledge of criminal activity at BISD to meet with us, tell the truth, and agree to cooperate. Starting today and through the end of this month, my office and task force investigators will be available to meet with people who are willing to speak to us and consideration will be given to those that come forward during this time period. Change within the school district is imminent and this opportunity will hopefully allow for swift justice," stated Crenshaw.

It's been my observation that liberals are indeed the minority on this site.

You are right. I have seen several reports of the black community expressing concern, so it has been reported. For example [Hidden Content]

I can agree with one of her statements; no you can’t single one person out. I don’t think you have enough fingers on both hands to point out the culprits.

BIASED NEWS - Vidor high school students arrested

VISD deciding to go public with a problem is not a bad idea. Not a bad concept. -
Another fine example of Washington forcing laws and regs on the public but grandly excluding themselves. If anyone needs flatulence control, it’s Washington. :) Welcome back Smitty. I thought you were one of those who was “accidentally†band during the changeover.
