That's was one heck of a hit...
KOGT said "that was a legal hit.... but I sure hope he's OK"
2. Very impressive. No question how good they are no matter who the opponent is. Good job on the video too.
3. I grew up fishing dead and live bait and I enjoy it a lot  and it's hard to get away from. I fish arties too but lack the consistency and confidence. The enjoyment comes from being on the water and holding a rod but the thrill doesn't come from bait; it comes from the pull on the line or even the scream of the drag.
4. Fished the surf at Searim Friday and had fun with redfish, drum and whiting
5. Dick Dowling looks like a pretty pretected ramp but few people use it. Does anyone know why?
6. You can also try Dick Dowling park in Sabine Pass
7.
The birds were working in Cow Bayou again today.  Only brought home eight trout, but I bet I threw back another 20 that were 14"...a lot of fun today and beautiful weather.
Since you're that close it's always good to give Dupont outfall a try
8. GSP returns to the octigon. Will he return true to form, improved or rusty? Will the fight go the distance?I'm looking forward to it.
9. It certainly helps if your girlfriend enjoys fishing. Since you didn't get out until 4:00 you probably didn’t have a lot of daylight to fish. If you're just learning and have very little time to fish you may want to consider fishing spots close to home. Save time and money. Make those longer trips when you have time to hop around.
10.
Thanks so much for the advice so far.  Right now I have a combo baitcast rod/reel.  I am using a 12lb test mono line and I have some mono leaders that I've been told would be good to use.  At this point I'm just concerned with catching fish in general.  Once I learn more I'll focus on specific types.  The only bait I've used to far is dead shrimp, but a guy I work with recently told me to try Gulp artificial bait, so I was thinking of giving that a shot.  Planning on heading out to Pleasure Island tomorrow and trying my luck.
Gulps are good but don't go without shrimp. If things are slow shrimp can be your best bet even it's trash fish. Walter Umphry pier can be good place to try, plus you can check out other fisherman. Be patient because it can be slow this time of year
11. I've heard there are a whole lot of people fishing Dick Dowling right now and catching some flouder but not killing them
No reason why more schools down this way dont have turf..thats one thing i havent figured out..8 out of 10 schools in the DFW and Tyler Longview area have turf...thats including 1A,2A, and 3A schools.
Most of our schools down here don't have the the tax base to reasonably afford a million dollar turf
13. You can play on dirt if needed but the real problem is divots and uneven ground. You run the risk of more injuries.
14. I haven't had a problem freexing them either
15. The next event is Saturday on FUEL with a decent main event. The following Saturday is the return of GSP and Condit for the title. Dec 8 is another title fight between Henderson and Diaz. Next is a free fight on FX with Nelson and Carwin wrapping up the year with a final heavyweight main event. UFC has there share of injuries but there's plenty of action and quality fighters left. Many times the undercard hungry fighters put on the best show anyway.

Who else can say that from 5A-1A?? I don't think anybody, pleas stop hating and congradulate the mustangs and if they aren't playing your team root for them, they have a rare collection of talent that not many 5A teams get a chance to see on defense let alone at the 3A level. Talked to a coach from a school withing the district, he said this Mustang defense and the talent it has on it this year only comes around once every 10-15 years at this level, and I can't agree more
(on my bullhorn)please put down and step away from the crack pipe sir!!  who else from 5A-1A?? really??? PAM does that every year. what's your point?? north shore mustangs have the same. some wo-s fans have the big fish in the small pond mentality. get outside that pond and you are nothing. start moving north of orange co and you become the weak teams you been thumpin your chest about beating. i know the TEAM only can play who they put in front of them, but these FANS, just stop, you really look dumb. LOOK AT THE SCHEDULE!! LOOK AT THOSE TEAMS!!! now,i can see if you went through and beat the breaks off of lamarque, stephenville, gilmer, coldspring,or since ya'll THINK wo-s can beat PAM or Brook for that matter. i wish the kids luck and this is not aimed at them, but these dilusional fans. and yes the puppy toilet paper is wrong and so are the fans who believe that wo-s is the best defense in the state...they are not the best 3a defense in the state!!  why?? that schedule that would probably rank in triple digits of the power rankings,is why!! smoke and mirrors 100%. jasper so far,is about the only team i can give wo-s a quality win over. silsbee is the other quality team on the schedule. can't wait to wo-s get tossed out the playoffs like a drunk gets tossed out of a bar >:(
You see to a normal message board fan your tirad would have shut most up, but with me being who I am, I decided to go do some research, and the results show once again how good WOS s on the field and when it comes to putting kids in school. If you go to rivals.com and type in both schools in the database and look up all the defenseive kids who have scholarships and did sign a D-1 or D-1AA scholarship from both North Shore and WOS since 2006 North Shore has only 3 more defensive players that went to college then that of WOS. The count was 16-13, giving how much smaller WOS is then North Shore that is incredible! And I did count the class of 2013 into both teams totals, and for the class of 2013 WOS has six kids with scholarships North Shore has two. Now with all that said I'm not saying WOS is North Shore or better then North Shore, just saying speak facts! And Don't just come on here rambling off at the mouth because someone might check your answers.
+1 for facts
17. Congrats Dustin. Classy king Classy student body
18. Haters are going to hate. With all the talk about a weak schedule; realistically WOS’s defensive numbers may not be a true representation of how good they really might be. When your schedule includes several much weaker team (no disrespect intended) you’re not forced to play all out defense. They can play more second string players through the game giving others a chance to play, make some lass aggressive play calls, etc. Bottom line is the weaker teams may not be seeing 100% WOS defense.
19.
OK you ole coot, time to put down the deer rifle and come get your steak.  It's bad enough I have to give you fishing lessons 12 monts out of the year, but now this...... ;D ;D ;D Due to the unusual circumstances that caused your lack-luster, completely disfunctional, ugly ars uniform sporting Dayton Bronco's toffense to score 7 more points than my Far Superior BH Eagles, so I now owe you a Brennan's Steak.  You can even keep the scraps and bring OctFeb back a doggie bag........she has to eat outside though. ;) ;) I'll fly back form Atalanta Tuesday night, so if you wanna have lunch Wednesday we can do that.  I have to read to the Clear Lake Kindergarden class Wed morning, then we can head over.  I got to pick out a book, so if you can find a clean copy of "The Day No Horse Would Die", that would probably be appropriate.    ;D
Was that part of another lost bet?  ;D
20. The Beaumont Enterprise article said WOS was the best defense in the state. For those of you that disagree, you should give them a call and let them know they are wrong.
21. I take it that's not from the Alaskan trip :)
