According to the article the daughter said she didn’t know who the guy was which may have appeared as rape. Even though he may have acted prematurely he may be within his rights.

Another damaging scenario for the GOP is self destruction. They ridiculed each other throughout the last primary debates and ruined all credibility. Newt had it right last time and tried to promote unity within the party debates but they were too focused on discrediting each other.

I don’t pay much attention to any of them at this point. I wait to see who’s left standing after they shot themselves in the foot or the left ridicules them out of contention. I would like to see Ted Cruz just to see what would happen but I know it won’t happen. Washington deserves a Ted Cruz. Realistically I’ like to see Ben Carson, someone that’s not a politician.

I could live with higher prices if we were more independent and produced our own oil. As we are now we are too dependent on other country’s oil supplies.

I may not agree with gay marriage or the lifestyle but everyone deserves the same individual civil rights. Furthermore, sexual orientation or gender should not be considered or even necessary to be determined for day to day life. I feel differently though when it comes to marital or parental issues.   With that being said, I suppose each state has the right implement their own laws.

On the other hand some wars seem to be over other things when there is actually a religious root such as the ongoing battle over the Gaza Strip. The battle is portrayed as being over land when in reality religion plays an underlying role. Just about all conflict with Israel is portrayed as something other than religion. By the same token; wars claim to be over many things when oil is probably the underlying root of many  war. JMO
