Man, she must have been ugly if he couldn't tell the difference -
There was a time there I think Tyson would take him but you never know

Great card and I can't wait. Any of those others could have been headliners. They might have been worried about getting out of the Brazil stadium if Sonnen wins. :)
jones evans fight was a snore fest
There were some other good fights though
remember sonnen was on roids when he last fought silva, and silva had broken ribs also!!
I was really shocked at how bad be beat down Brian Stans supposedly not on roids. I am really looking forward to the rematch.
I think with silva it was more not preparing for the fights and being lazy in training and just wanted to get the win, when people thought he could lose to somebody he flat out dominated!!! for example franklin, henderson, griffin.belfort, okami, and marquardt people thought he would have a chance to get beat and we saw the results and he dominated in all of them!!! Maia, leites, cote, and sonnen fights I feel that he just wanted to get by and didn't take these fighters seriously!! now for gsp for example he hasn't had a stoppage in a fight since 2009!!!and that was against Penn
If your theory is correct Silva should totally dominate Sonnen in their next fight. We'll see.

Jones said in the post fight interview he was too cautious and needed to work on his confidence. I’ve seen the same cautious style evolve in other champions like GSP and Silva; fight to not lose rather than fight to win.
-
I agree that it didn't suck but it wasn't as exciting as his past fights. For the first time I think we saw him fight a little more to not lose rather than fighting to win. He was little too cautious for my taste but he fought smart and Evans is no slouch with this being only his second loss. I will say this; he’s gone through some really tough fighters, Evans, Machida, Rampage, Shogun and others with Henderson up next. He’s probably had the toughest stretch that any champion has had in a while.

Good catch. Some details would be nice. I've heard fishin was good right now.

3-3 in the 7th with back to back HRs I think in the 5th. Carlos Lee with one of those plus an early RBI. I felt the need to brag on them a little while I can. I wish Carlos could keep it up for the season. -
Should be seeing some fishing reports soon? With photos :)

Anyone else out there that catfishes? I'm getting geared up for spring break, will be setting lines out soon. Last year I mainly used cut bait (buffalo) and I slated the bluecats but ops won't bite cut bait. The yellow mudcat are hard to find anymore for bait but will concentrate on perch for the ops. Just wanting some catfish talk.
My hubby got all of his trot lines out this past week and got everything ready. He is going up the lake this weekend after the marathon to spend Spring Break with the guys fishing and doing 12 ounce curls. He is going to live the high life and do little to nothing cept fish.
Dang, you got a sister? Cousin? Aunt? Even a distant Lesbian would do if I get to go "fishing with the boys and 12-oz curls".......LOL
Does this explain why we haven't seen a report from you in a while? 8)
Been working on new boat. New not meaning a sticker in the window either.....man been a lot of work. Boat will be moved in a week come you know what or high water. Fishing is about to start full spead ahead. Things really don't get going good till snapper season opens anyway. The winter and spring trips are usually less frequent due to weather and much farther out. Coming soon!!!!!!
Good news. Good looking boat too

Spoken with the same friend who fished Toledo again and they caught plenty again with the biggest being 60lbs. The water rising has helped.

I don't trot line but a friend said after the recent rains and the water rise at Toledo the catfish have turned on. They caught 160 lbs in less than a week.

Great haul. Thanks for the report. I've heard it's been inconsistant lately. The conditions seemed good while I worked in the yard today :'(
