It’s a big night for the UFC. Saturday is the first fight night for the UFC under their new contract with FOX. It should be a good title fight along with some other decent fights.

Hit the beach again for a couple of hours today. The surf was rougher than last than last Saturday but still caught one bull and one slot red, a nice drum and more whiting. Aside from the rougher water the weather was perfect and it was a great day with the family.

I did catch one on shrimp with light tackle while playing with the whiting. It was pretty cool

Silva does have the resume and should stay at #1 for now but Jones last few wins have been amazing against top fighters. Plus, he's only 24. His best days are ahead of him. Do you think Silva wants to fight Sonnen again?

Where the heck have you been? It’s been a quite board. Okami wasn’t much of an opponent. Jones destroyed Shogun the champion and Rampage, a top fighter. Machida doesn’t stand a chance. I understand and agree he has earned his way to the #1 spot but it may happen in the future. How bout making Jones move down? I agree GSP needs to step it up. JMO – 136 were some outstanding fights. Sonnen looked ready for another shot.

I  don't disagree but I see enough talent there to put him on top in the future, especially if Silva and GSP don't put up some more impressive fights. Even though I don't agree Dana White said Edger should be #2
