  5. I’m interested in who will be handling scheduling on realignment day. Any previous agreements between Faircloth and other coaches could be wiped out.
  6. Are you talking about his actual playing days? I’m not sure of that history. But he won one title as PNG’s head coach in 1975 and lost another in 1977. They didn’t play in four championship games under him.

  8. A request has been sent. It can take up to ten days for a response.
  9. I’ve spoken with multiple players that support BF. Some have even said their dads didn’t like the coach, but they have no issues with him. Multiple coaches have told me they want him to stay as well. From 1978-1988 PNG didn’t make the playoffs. Burnett missed the playoffs in 1994, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2008. So winning is not a given at PNG.

  11. Sorry! I started a new topic. Didn’t realize they renamed the tournament. The schedule still said HJ Marathon. You can delete the other post.
  12. On the high school level 9 times out of 10 the coach has a meeting with players after talking to coaches. In the past when I've been informed of a change from the coach I'll hold onto the story until that occurs. Just out of respect to the coach.
  13. True, but I would hope his coaches and players would know before someone on a message board.
  14. He was still there today. So unless it's happened in the past five minutes that's not true.
  15. He’s applied for other jobs in the past, which is pretty common. The last one being Lucas Lovejoy. That process was very public. He’s from Brownwood so moving to North Texas would’ve made sense. My only issue is we’re going on two weeks of people saying they have sources and know he is out. I’ve received messages saying he’s been forced out, been fired and been reassigned. I’ve even been told he notified the team. Yet he’s still there. Players haven’t been notified. Coaches haven’t been notified. People in the “know” have said it’s one guy. Then it became two. And I’ve been told around seven guys now. The story keeps changing. The superintendent says there are a bunch of bad rumors. Most coaches take time to consider their next step after the season. Just let it play out. Rumors aren’t helping anyone.
  16. This are the official cutoff numbers though and includes the number of schools at each level, Crosby will be D1.
  17. Gotta realign the entire state for it to make sense though.
