  1. In all fairness, Rayburn only scored more than 20 points 3 times last year. They were (2-8).
  2. Heard that Central crushed Rayburn yesterday.
  3. Travel during the week has never been a big concern for all the other sports.
  4. None of the coaches I spoke with said they would be trying to get a game in next week. Things have been known to change.
  5. Amazingly many of them also played last week.
  6. It's set for Friday according the Coach Mathews.
  7. Technically school does not have to be in session for games to be played. With Vidor it all depends on the number of players that can actually play. Plus I'm not sure the condition of their equipment. Even if the stadium is damaged they can play on the road. That's what Refugio is forced to do.
  8. After seeing Sterling and PNG in scrimmages, Indians should win by at least a couple of scores.
  9. PAM cancelled their game with Westside, but they are looking for a scrimmage this week. As far as I know Vidor did get water in the school. I know Coach Mathews' house did also, as well as Coach Faircloth. A lot of players and coaches in this area dealing with a lot. Still everyone I've talked to wants to get playing ASAP.
  10. Meant to be Crosby at Jasper, couldn't edit this.
  11. Figured we could start a list of games we know that will be played Crosby at Jasper, Friday 7 pm Kirbyville at East Chambers, Friday 7:30 pm Silsbee at Newton, Friday 7:30 Coaches that have told me they plan on playing Baytown Sterling at Port Neches-Groves
  12. I would say Vidor is in much worse shape than PAM. Memorial high school didn't get any water in it. The stadium is fine also. PAISD said it could be up to 3 weeks until school opens, but it could be sooner.
  13. Danny is right. They were hoping to do so, but now there are no plans for any athletic events this weekend.
  14. The initial numbers released by the UIL had them below......it wasn't a number made up. I have the paperwork in one these million boxes showing Ozen choosing to opt up. Their number did rise by the time enrollment day arrived Ozen's snapshot was 1,082. On realignment day it was 1,121.
  15. This lightning delay won't be ending. Outer bands of Harvey moving on up.
  16. For whatever reason this quote won't go away on my response. So I'm not responding this lol. The secondary statement was based on the players on the field and what I recorded on video. Blown coverages and mistakes happen. Faircloth is trying to get the running game going. That's obvious. Also any scrimmage with QB's like Johnson and Watkins are hard to evaluate. Both guys can extend plays with their legs, but neither were allowed to do so with the format.
  17. He hasn't said anything like that lol. Early on does WOS look as good as last year....no. Coach T has straight up said "we're not very good right now." Both teams were very vanilla. PNG only threw deep 4 times. Two were touchdowns. The other was broken up at the goal line at the last second. Then there was an Hail Mary picked off. The WOS secondary needs some work.
  18. I think it's way too early to even see anything like that. Comparing scrimmages (whatever that's worth) WOS dominated PNG last year. That wasn't the case tonight.
