The initial numbers released by the UIL had them below......it wasn't a number made up. I have the paperwork in one these million boxes showing Ozen choosing to opt up. Their number did rise by the time enrollment day arrived Ozen's snapshot was 1,082. On realignment day it was 1,121.

This lightning delay won't be ending. Outer bands of Harvey moving on up.

For whatever reason this quote won't go away on my response. So I'm not responding this lol. The secondary statement was based on the players on the field and what I recorded on video. Blown coverages and mistakes happen. Faircloth is trying to get the running game going. That's obvious. Also any scrimmage with QB's like Johnson and Watkins are hard to evaluate. Both guys can extend plays with their legs, but neither were allowed to do so with the format.

He hasn't said anything like that lol. Early on does WOS look as good as last year....no. Coach T has straight up said "we're not very good right now." Both teams were very vanilla. PNG only threw deep 4 times. Two were touchdowns. The other was broken up at the goal line at the last second. Then there was an Hail Mary picked off. The WOS secondary needs some work.

I think it's way too early to even see anything like that. Comparing scrimmages (whatever that's worth) WOS dominated PNG last year. That wasn't the case tonight.

Watson was sharp on his first drive. Mustangs drove straight down the field for the first TD. He used his legs and his arm to get things going. Missed extra point. PNG drive was stalled at the WOS 34. Johnson would've been gone on a run, but the refs blew it dead. QB's weren't allowed to go too far before the plays were stopped. After a few 3 and outs Johnson hit Riggs for a long TD in the 2nd. 7-6 PNG Johnson's only interception came on a hail mary in the final seconds of the second quarter. First play of the 3rd it was Johnson to Riggs for 70 yards. 14-6 PNG Two plays later Ja'Vonn Ross busted two tackles and was gone. PNG was leading 14-13 heading into the fourth. After a bad snap the Indians had terrible field position. The punt was short and WOS took advantage. The short drive stalled, but still set up a Chad Dallas field goal with 5 minutes left in the fourth. After that both teams put in reserves. [Hidden Content]

That's correct. Takes effect in the UIL this season. Teams will be charged a time out at the beginning of each half if they wear jerseys that have the same colored numbers as jersey is what I'm told. Thank goodness!

WOS got a new set of white uniforms. The jersey is very similar to the white jerseys they already have with the UCLA stripes. But they also have new white pants.

PAM vs Dunne is tentatively set for Saturday September 2nd at 7 pm in Port Arthur. Harrison just sent me a text.

Back on June 27th Coach Harrison told me the games will be played in Port Arthur, including theirs against Bishop Dunne. Now I'm really confused.

The brackets are incorrect. They always have Region I vs Region III. At state the top two teams by winning percentage are placed on opposite ends. The 3 and 4 seeds are decided by a coin flip. 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3. Carter said they'll face Wakeland or Moody.
