1. Tournament is in a rain delay. Resumes at 6 pm if the weather holds off. Currently 25 minutes into the 2 pm games so it's going to be a long night. Intensity was eliminated by Texas Glory. Shockers lost to Missouri City Magic for their first loss. Crush-Brown will play the Katy Cruisers in the losers bracket, Shockers will play Peppers or Trouble.
2. Any word on Crush-Brown, Shockers or Intensity from this morning?
3. What was the final? I have highlites of the game but Intensity hasn't called it in.
4. I hate the Kirbyville vs WO-S game being moved to a Saturday. Lamar hosts Sam Houston St. at 6 pm the same day.
5. Hey sorry I haven't been on here a while. The reason I said that is from what I'm being told as well. Not like I'm running with the story but it's off the record kind of stuff. I'm a fan of new facilities in the area so I'm wishing them the best.

7. Besides the Shockers and the Crush teams who else is local, I would like to get them some coverage.
8. East Cobb Braves were the defending national champions. They'll play the Bulldogs out of San Bernadino, CA tomorrow morning.
9. They won their last game 7-6 against the Southeastern Athletics from Georgia. They'll open bracket play against the South Florida Bandits.

12. All this is true but to me the game is more fun to watch now. And there are still plenty of kids in this area that play with the same amount of fire and without fear. I feel lucky that I get to see a lot of them play and progress from underclassman to college careers and possible NFL draft picks.
13.
Chad Allen from Coldspring lines up at half back, takes a lateral from Halston Flanigan of Newton and tosses a halfback pass to Doug Higginbotham of Cleveland for the first score. West leads 7-0.
A lot of the players are wearing all types decals like the Senior Bowl. But Higginbotham is actually wearin an Anahuac helmet...CONFUSING lol
14. What a killer conference for baseball, this is assuming Baylor has passed Colorado which has been rumored. EAST xx Arizona State (50-8) xx Texas (49-11) xx Oklahoma (47-15) x Texas A&M (43-21) x Baylor (36-24) x Arizona (34-24) Oklahoma State (29-26) Texas Tech (28-29) WEST xx UCLA (46-13) x Oregon (40-24) x Washington State (37-22) x Oregon State (32-24) x Stanford (31-25) x California (29-25) Washington (28-28) USC (28-32) xx- Super Regional Teams x- Regional Teams
15. Lamar dropped the ball last time G left, they had a shot at Wayne but said they wanted someone with D1 experience.
16. Arizona fell out of the NCBWA poll this week they were 28th. Even more important for LU to win game 1 the high in Fort Worth Saturday is 101!
17.

Dude stop making excuses for lamar, just be realistic lamar isn't the program it use to be thats what we are trying to say, we know GILLIGAN used to be a good coach, we know BOWDEN use to be a great coach but you know what the truth is there not Good coaches anymore, we don't care about the past, we care about the future.
He just wants to keep getting interviews so he has to support him
Nice try. I don't have to support anyone.
18. Expectations are high and Lamar fans got spoiled during their 3 year run. But let's be honest we are still a mid-major and it's the only sport that we have that we have besides golf that can compete year in and year out. It's just hard to say a program is down when they had a down regular season after filling holes with new talent this season. I'm at 30+ games a year so I see the team day in and day out. I'm not questioning your baseball knowledge at all I'm just saying it would make no sense to run off G.
19. Stats are not excuses. Add these to the past few years at the SLC Tournament 09- Semifinalist 08- Runner-Up 06- Semifinalist 05- Runner-Up The program is not down and any team in the league would be happy with the results over the last decade.
20. Just showing Lamar past results at regionals. That's all of them.
