Don't lump all of the golden triangle in together. There are many WOS fans that have much respect for Newton and were looking forward and maybe even a little hesitant when WOS had Newton on the schedule. One of these days we will get to see that game. But I think the teams are very familiar in that they have alot of haters due to their success. Everybody talks about them being overrated but how can any team be overrated when there isn't a single team in this area that can consistently beat either one. Yea maybe they are overrated if you compare them to the Texans.....or maybe not. But thats a different story.

Well did anybody see the bottom of the AP 4a rankings for other teams receiving votes. There were 2 local 4a teams. Nederland...no......PNG.......no......Central.....no........Livingston.......no.........very interesting. Not that their rankings usually make sense anyways but very interesting

I agree Best in Texas is a stretch....He just doesn't have the size to get noticed by D-1 schools.

The only problem with him getting the stats is that half of the district games he will probably be only playing 3 quarters of the game.....on the other hand the only stat that matters is the win/loss column

I know of a few fields where this game could be played Saturday with or without MOODY.......He should probably get used to LCM games without him there because next year he won't be there.....

Honestly I felt that Quintavious was on par with DPG last year...Just look at his yards per carry last year...however this year QG seems to have gotten a little quicker....he was just as elusive and tough to tackle last year but he has added a little more speed...He seems to block pretty well also so that should help the passing game a little

you must've not seen the 1st qt. huh?? maybe you just dont understand football we everytime we turned over the ball you guys scored.........you dont call that giving away the game then i dont know what to call it Protecting the football is part of the game. But if they scored everytime Ozen turned it over then im pretty sure they would have scored any time they had the ball.....meaning ozen was just outmatched get over it and move on to next week.

Not going to happen. Just be happy you get the third spot because Orangefield will be more than happy to occupy that spot. Not going to happen since I'm a WOS fan. But it was a good effort the comeback was quick and good.....maybe someday you can take advantage of that talent......like maybe someday Silsbee can take advantage of their talent. Aside from a few players silsbee has had the biggest and most athletic team in that district but can't quite seem to put it together....Maybe Someday
