  4. This game is in the past & what's done is done. Stick to the stated topic.
  5. No doubt there, Soulja! Central has plenty of weapons.
  6. You've really got to hand it to these girls. They go out & play hard every game and despite the end score, they never quit. They are taking the lumps now, but as bullets13 said, this area is too rich in talent to be down for long. Keep it up Lady Cards, we are proud of you!
  7. That is great news and I appreciate you sharing it abovetherim! I am good for 2-4 season tix.
  8. Here are the official UIL enrollment numbers for 2006-2008 (22-4A) Ozen . . . . 1499.5 PNG . . . . . 1475 NED . . . . . 1471 Dayton . . . 1439.5 Vidor. . . . . 1425 Central . . . 1406.5 LCM . . . . . 1170 Lumberton . 1011
  9. Ned does not need to get caught looking ahead to Dayton or Lumberton. As long as they stay focused on LCM this week, they should be OK. If not, then we will be in a world of trouble.
  10. I am not sure of the exact formula, but I think it comes down to point differential between common opponents, with a cap of 18 pts. In other words, it is better to win convincingly in district games (as opposed to winning by a small margin), but running up the score unnecessarily will not help you.
  11. Way to go Dogs! Good job recovering from last week's loss. Now the key is to not start looking ahead to Dayton & L-town, but stay focused on LCM and what it will take to win that game. We will face the other two soon enough. Great win Dogs . . . keep it up!! ;D
  12. Congrats to the Indians on the win and more importantly, for apparently getting all the pieces of the 2007 puzzle together. You guys are clicking on all cylinders . . . very impressive!! Congrats have to go out to the Raiders for their excellent performance at the Reservation, as well. You guys brought it to PNG moreso than any other team has this year, including La Marque!
  13. Dang! That game is flying by!!
  14. TD Ozen, 1:47 in the 1st 7-3 Ozen
  15. 3-0 Nederland, 5:44 in the 1st.
  16. The fight for sole posession of 1st place! ;D
  17. Which has absolutely nothing to do with my post. Again, the three points I made are all true & valid. They are relavant to the current, stated topic, and they make sense.
  18. Ummmm, I re-read my post, and nothing I stated was horsepucky. In fact, it was all true. With about 270 rushing yards so far this season & about half the season to go, Micah is on pace to hit between 500-600 yards. That is respectable for a true freshman at any D1 school. Is it the best ever? No. Is it the best freshman performance for anyone from SE Texas? Of course not! And no one ever said that he was or would be. Again, re-read my 3 points, and if you have an open mind, you will see that the statements are true. I did not say, or ever will say, that Micah is comparable to Jamal Charles. I am still trying to figure out why you even brought Mr. Charles into this conversation.
  19. Oh, there is not doubt about that. PNG/ Lumberton is the hottest game going this week. I just had to show you the other side of the coin. ;D
  20. Mike, you know the PNG/Lumberton game will be on TV Wednesday night & for a month thereafter. Tonight is your one and only shot at seeing Ned/Ozen in '07. I'm not saying . . . I'm just saying.
  21. "M.C." = Mid County?? (I'm guessing, I don't know.) If "Mid County" is correct, then the following question applies. If not, then ignore it for it is a moot point. Yes, why is it that when some see Mid County, their disdain overrides any clear & logical thought? I honestly do not understand.
  22. 1) He is a true freshman - as with any youngster he is still developing and will certainly improve 2) He is splitting time with the veteran - that in & of itself speaks volumes as to his ability & future potential 3) He is in a "pass first" offense - getting carries is secondary to blocking & receiving Micah is doing a great job @ UNT, and that is the opinion of his head coach, not his friends, family, & a bunch unknowns on a message board. For those of you who only want to see him fail, why do you even bother reading the threads that concern him?
