  1. Unfortunately, I'll be at work for the first part of the game. After that, I'm heading to Lamar to catch the end of Ned/Ozen.
  2. Agreed Ring. Bellow & Bass do a nice job with the wrap around. So far this year, it has worked way more often than not.
  3. Isn't Dayton 2-1 in district? If so, they are very much in the thick of things thus far.

  6. Lumberton @ PNG, without a doubt.
  7. "PURPLE 4EVER" is from Dayton. With two purple & white teams in our district, it gets confusing sometimes.
  8. LOL, that one is kicking my tail now!!
  9. I love it too!
  10. OK, thanks. I didn't realize we were flagged on the k/o.
  11. It is way too early to tell. I am quite content to enjoy the season one game at a time.
  12. Speaking of the refs, I have a question . . . When a kick goes out of bounds, where is the receiving team supposed to get the ball spotted? The 30? The 35? The 40? I saw the ball get spotted at both the 35 & the 30 last night. Obviously, this in no way affected the outcome of the game, this is merely a rules question, as I am just curious as to where the ball is supposed to be spotted.
  13. Don't believe everything you hear.
  14. No if's, and's, or but's about it - PNG beat Ned in all pahses of the game last night and didn't leave a shadow of a doubt as to who the better team was. I saw the same thing in Week 0 that Mike did - PNG's defense is stout & Hemmings is a bull! Congrats to the Indians on the win, you deserved it! Best of luck next week against Lumberton.

  16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Ned's non-district schedule include La Marque, Texas City, & Friendswood at various points during this time frame?
  17. Now now titan, that's not exactly giving props, as you said you would do for the whole week. BTW, I heard you on the radio Friday night as I was heading to Galveston after the game.
  18. Good call admin. Ned is in no way, shape, or form a "lock" to make the playoffs. Way too many big games left for anyone to make a bold statement like that.

  20. That's kinda what I was thinking. 8)
  21. Great win by the Dogs! I just got back into town, but I was at the game Friday night. I admit that in the 3rd Qtr, I was on pins & needles, getting flashbacks of the 28-7 lead we had & lost to Bay City in 1998. Fortunately for us, that didn't happen this time. Hats off the a very gritty Central team who never quit and showed tons of heart. You guys will recover & have a great season.
  22. That is awesome to hear!
  23. That is very impressive. Lumberton's defense is coming to play this season.
  24. Now that's funny!!
