  1. Ken Lucas & Ricky Morton Who was the Southwest Championship Wrestling star known for using the Piledriver?
  2. I hope you are right! It has been long enough . . . we need our college football back!
  3. Did someone wake up on the wrong side of her throne?
  4. Diva's on the prowl . . .
  5. That topic has been unusually quiet all season long. :|
  6. The state high school record is 49,953, set in the 1977 Title game at Texas Stadium between PNG & Plano.
  7. LC was/is a monster of a team and I will be shocked if they do not end up in the Finals with Texas High. They have the complete package, and next year will probably be about the same, as their RB (Jr.) and QB (Soph.) will be back. It was also nice to see a great show of fan support for LC. They are watching a very special team this year. As for the Bulldogs, I could not be more proud of you for the gutsy effort each of you gave week in & week out. You fought hard & valiantly each & every game and you beat all odds to not ony earn a playoff birth, but to win a 10th consecutive Bi-District Championship. I will always wear my 2006 Bulldog Playoff shirt with pride because of the effort you gave all season long. Thanks for the special year you gave to us fans. Way to go Dogs!!
  8. Conroe Caney Creek beat Houston Furr today, 56-0. They will face Saturday night's winner between Nederland & Lamar Consolidated.
  9. Good point tvc. 48 teams are still playing for one of 2 championships. That is just under 21% of Texas' 4A teams. I am glad Nederland is part of that group.
  10. Sounds good to me. I should be pretty easy to spot in my Bulldog shirt.
  11. No doubt, that would be a monster game to catch. On a statewide level, that would be a strong candidate for Game of the Week.
  12. It should be in the paper over there in the next couple of days, I would think. I am planning on going to your game & I guess I could probably just look in the stands & see which side Dayton is sitting on, but if anyone finds out ahead of time, let me know. I'd appreciate it.
  13. Sorry if this is already buried here or in another thread, but I'll ask anyway . . . Will Dayton be sitting on the Home or Visitor's side Friday night at Stallworth?
  14. IMO, in order to be able to get through this game, Ned will have to be clicking in all 3 phases of the game once again this week. Any lax in focus, intensity, and execution could spell disaster. Go Dogs Go!!
  15. That is funny . . . good story.
  16. Haha, true!!
  17. He too, is a keeper, without a doubt.
  18. Awesome post tvc.
  19. Oops!! My bad!! I forgot this was a reply concerning the Dayton game, not the Central game. Sorry guys.
  20. My guess is that Brenham will win that game to meet Central in Round 3.
  21. The winner between Brenham/Houston Sterling.
  22. I'm with you guys . . . Go Jags!!
  23. Without a doubt, they are the DI team to beat in Region III. I don't think that any Nederland player, coach, or fan would tell you anything different. Last night, the Bulldogs played their most complete game so far this season - offense, defense, and special teams. It was incredible to watch. You would have had to be there to know what I am talking about. What the Dogs did last night was enough to give us all hope that maybe, just maybe, we can pull off another upset, like we did against #2 Friendswood in 2001. Last night's game gives us a glimer of hope. Way to go Dogs!!!
