Wow, I didn't think my statement would get you'll going like it did this morning.  I know the games still have to be played but I feel like there are 2 guarantees about 20-4A this year.

1. Nederland will make the playoffs
2. Lumberton will not make the playoffs.

I say that to say I personally feel the other 6 teams, pending injuries, lucky breaks and the graduation of some players, all have a legitimate chance of making or missing the playoffs.
As long as Coach Matthews is the Captain of the Pirate ship, I don't see Vidor being consistently at the bottom of this district, we have Lumberton for that...

Just showed a Lumberton player this here at work and he said they are going to prove everyone wrong this coming season. Gotta believe in my boys :)

I work with one of Lumberton's players and we talked today and he said they have it narrowed down to 2 guys. Can't remember who though but they aren't from Lumberton

It was horrible

Okay I never say anything about the umpires but tonight was horrible. Even vidor boys were saying it was horrible. He had to keep asking the ref down by first base if it was a ball or strike.
