  1. What positions outside or inside linebackers. There has been so much movement outside due to injuries. I think a line up of Evan Brown and N.L. Hines outside with Chad Stapleton and Jordan Baxter inside would stand up to any group in 19-4A. I am not certain outside of the district but I think that they are really coming together and by the end of the season they could be a pretty tough group in any division. We can't forget that Zack Crowder may be back in a couple of weeks and that will give us another option on the outside linebacker position.
  2. I would have to disagree with you concerning Alvester being the best player in district maybe 3rd. I honestly think that the battle here is Dayton's offense vs. Kings Defense.King won't be able to stop Cody/ A.J./ Payton threesome and will have a hard time playing from behind. If you get a chance go and look at highschool gametime and watch #42 and #50 middle linebackers as well as #45 noseguard. These with the return of Evan Brown outside lineback will be too much even for Alvester. King has a couple of special players on offense Dayton has a defense that is gelling and shifting into overdrive at the right time. By the way I am a graduate of C.E.King 1986 as well as a former player for Coach Starnes.
  3. I think that after this Friday night they will start getting the respect that they already deserve. You are right though, they have been pretty solid all year considering the injuries to Zack Crowder, Evan Brown, Aaron Jenkins. Fortunately we got Aaron back and Evan should be back Friday. Unfortunately we have lost Zack for the for-seeable future with the leg injury. Chad has really stepped in and stabilized the linebacker position allowing Tony Hill to go back to nose guard where he is at his best. I hope that Chad will continue to develop I think he can be big time for us down the stretch. Dillan is solid and a really good athlete. I think with Evan back we are gonna start seeing a really special defense possibly even equal to what we had last year. One more point of interest for this weekends game is that Dillan Bethea and Chad stapleton both grew-up and played football in the Sheldon district until 7-8th grade they both really seem to be shall we say excited to go back and play Alvester and crew. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Chad Stapleton Middle Linebacker Dayton High School 9 tackles, 5 for loss [3 sacks] 5 assists
  5. #50 is Jordan Baxter he is a junior and a very hard nosed salty kid. I think that he and the Stapleton kid complement each other very well.
