Newton's defense has really stepped up in the first half. Hope they can keep it up

championeagles i do have a clue i was on one of newton's state teams and if barbay and the team had your competitive spirit we would never win a state championship

ChampionEagles I am a Newton fan and what would it mean if you win state and do not win district. Then Kirbyville could say if they would have been in Div. 2, they would have won state.

I know everyone wants to win State, but imo it would not mean as much if you did not win district.
